Saying "please" got me what I wanted!

While I was in this morning's LD, I tried saying "please" after all my shoutouts.

I shouted "Clarity, please!". The LD got clearer.

I shouted "More control, please!". The buildings I brought down came down.

I shouted "A girl, please!". Three were around the corner. (didn't get to do the obvious though, they pushed me away)

It never occured to me to ask nicely! Try it next time you're in an LD.

This happens to me a lot, so I always ask permission before the obvious.

I guess respect breeds respect..Never thought about trying it in a dream, I suppose I am demanding....especially with dream scene changes.
      The year is 2029.
The machines will convince us that they are conscious, that they
have their own agenda worthy of our respect.
      They'll embody human qualities and
claim to be human, and we'll believe them

You only need permission in real life.

If they say no just tell them it's their true purpose, it's worked for me.

In my lucids when i want something i demand it, i mean i don't need to ask for it, i mean i am god, i get what i want.

Plus my sc dont like me so he wouldn't give it me if i asked anyway.

It all depends on your mind, the way you think. I personally don't have much luck with the forceful method, but I've never tried asking nicely, though I don't think that will work either (and now that I've thought it, it won't) (well actually it would work because of the way my mind works, but not just because I asked nicely) (parentheses are nice) () I'm more of an arm-moving kind of thinker.

I never say please b/c I dont think I need permission from myself to do something in my dream when I already have it. Instead I just will what I want. I know I will see what I want to see, go where I want to go, be where I want to be, etc.
Basically, I just expect to see something be done when I want it done, which is probably why I always see it done.

I feel my subconscious is playful and tricky. I have to ask nice, and if i seem too needy, it won't do what i really want. It will however, give me what I need. I think its waiting for the right time to give me a LD

      Talking

I never have to say "please" or anything like that either, i mean, it is MY dream, saying please to get what i want would be like asking Myself if i have the right to have something while it's obvious that the answer will be yes since i'm the one asking for it! :/

Great dream you had btw, i'm sorry for you 'bout the girls

imo ...you have to do that IRL at one point. Real life conversation

Scarhand "Hey can we have sex, pleease?"
      Girl "No...."
Scarhand "It's your true purpose to have sex with me..."
      Girl "WHA WHAT!"
Scarhand "God wants you to have sex with me..."
Girl "Well if its god's way, can't mess with his divine plan"

      +1 Scarhand

i just glanced over the title of this thread without reading it last night before i went to bed without much thought. this morning (not even 15 minutes ago) i woke, rolled over and started falling back asleep - until i noticed my feet falling through my bed.

I felt sleep paralysis as big 'waves', when one hit it would make my ears feel a dull thud and another portion of my body would drop through my bed. When my whole body had fallen asleep i waited for my image. I had a false awakening in my bed, everything was very flickery and unstable - i tried rubbing my hands which helped a bit but then i remembered reading the title of this thread and yelled 'intesify, please!' and it popped in sharp for a few more minutes.

In the past I've felt like a moron running around yelling 'clarity!' in my head. It never even worked. I still feel a bit stupid for yelling this, but if it works i guess i'll stick with it.

      Thanks mini
