      I didn't know I was lucid dreaming.

So...apparently I've been lucid dreaming since I was younger all on my own,..No training...Nothing. Not even knowing it existed. That is until a friend of mine brought it up and I was just blown away that she couldn't control her dreams naturally. So Ive been looking up if its normal to just be able to do this, and well,... I've come up short.

Can someone confirm that they can naturally lucid dream?

there are a lot of naturals on this forum. And there are a lot of people who can have lucid dreams frequently after practice, and then there are some people who feel that they just can't seem to lucid dream no matter how hard they try.

      consider yourself lucky

Kinda the way it was for me.

I was lucid dreaming my whole life, until i decided to go look up on the internet what was happening to me.

No its most certainly not normal being able to to do this without putting effort into it.

That however also doesn't mean its a bad things. Its just a part of human evolution to expand our minds and such. Just the next step / stage of everything.

      Thank you!

Well even if its not normal, at least now I have a better understanding about how other people experience it. If I figure out a way to help anyone, I'll try

      Thanks again!

schitzopherics can lucid dream very easily as well. I think in your case you learned from a very young age because usually thats when regular people are most likely to lucid dream in their life. Most kids are able to notice right away without ever really thinking too much about it. It can become a habit for them to where they can lucid dream into adult hood. everyone has probably experienced a lucid dream in their early ages, it just developed as a habit with you, unless your schitzophrenic.
