Thread: Wild!!

Alright, so I have always been a lucid dreamer even from a relatively young age (I'm only 18 now) although I never coined it as "lucid dreaming" because I didn't know what it was called. I started having them when I was really young when I would have nightmares. I became aware that I was having a nightmare so I would hold my eyes open with my fingers, in my dream, until I woke up. And ever since then, I almost always know when I'm dreaming and subsequently manipulate my dreams accordingly.
I've even had a few "WILD"s. I know for sure at least 2, maybe 3 or 4. The first time I had one though, I literally thought I was going crazy. I was laying in bed, completely aware of my surroundings when I started hearing a ringing in my ears. Soon it got really loud and I didn't know what was going on because I was awake, yet I couldn't really move and the ringing was deafening. Eventually the ringing started to turn into voices and I started slipping into a dream state. It was odd because I could see images from my dream, yet I was completely aware that I was still in my room, and was looking around my room none the less. Then it just all of the sudden swtiched over and I was directly in my dream. This was a while ago so I can't recall the dream, but I sure as heck remember how I got into the dream. The second time still creeped me out, but at least I knew what was happening. I haven't had one in probably a year, so hopefully I'm due for one soon!

I'm not sure, people try to learn how to do this, but it just happens for me. Strange.
