      Cheating on your partner...

Possibly the strangest way i have ever become lucid...

Ok im on an aeroplane and this stewardess woman is threatening me saying that i must have sex with her unless i would be chucked off the plane. I was then in a moral dilemma as i did not want to cheat on my girlfriend (in waking life) at which point i said 'it doesnt matter, it wont count as cheating as i am only dreaming'

It was at this point that i became lucid

Reckon it counts as cheating if i sleep with the DC? lol

Ever had a DC help you out so that you realise your dreaming?

Yes - happened to me last night sort of... I met an old friend in my dream (that I don't see anymore) and she sort of told me that I was dreaming, so I thought 'I must not wake up, I must stay in the dream because if I wake up I won't see her again!' so I stayed in the dream and spoke to her about a few things before I woke up.

That was the first time I have ever had control in my dream and it felt really strange. I kept slipping in and out of lucidity but I knew I was dreaming when I made the concsious decision to stay in the dream and control it!

It probably is cheating if you do sleep with the DC by choice sorry!
      Always question reality...
      Lucid Goals:
      1. Build up my dream recall and become extremely lucid
      2. Find a magic wand and start casting spells
      3. Fly (of course) but also create stupidly high slides up in the air with the clouds and ride on them until I get bored
      4. Practice karate with a pro

I wouldn't count that as cheating. Haha, yeah both of the recent LD's I have had I got lucid because a DC was either talking about lucid dreaming or I asked them if I were dreaming and they said yes.

I actually have this happen all the time.

I get preocupied with the dilemma, and don't think to do a RC. So, once I wake up or escape the situation, not only did I miss out on a possible LD, I also missed out on some killer sex.

my definition of cheating is like a mutual relationship whether its sexual or just dating while with someone. a multiple relationship.

so since the DC isnt real, i don't think i wuld call it cheating unless it was like one of those weird shared-dream things w.your partner. but i wuld take into consideration of whether or not you are really happy or more positively, something just needs to be updated.

i had a dream that someone was tryin to get me to cheat on my girlfriend in her own house. i didnt do it but i had another dream that i looked at pornography w.my friends which i wuldnt do in real life but even that i wuldnt consider cheating.

      i hope this was helpful.

Basically sex w/ a DC is hands-free masturbation. I would only count it as cheating if you became so preocupied with a DC you had screwed that you lost intrest in your waking life lover.

i wuld actually suggest that if you were lucid, that you wuld demand to have sex w.your real girlfriend. even change the scenery. hell if you were on a plain, have hot steamy sex with your girlfriend while skydiving or something. thats more than the mile high club deal

I'd say that it isn't cheating to have sex in a dream, because it's nothing more than mental masturbation... seriously.

((Just read the posts... Seeker beat me too it.))

It's just having sex with your own mind. In a dream, you are just an avatar of your conciousness and every DC is still 'you.' Just another manifestation.
