WILD'ers. How does your Lucid Dream form?

Hellohihello again. I am currently homeschooled so I don't have to get up for school. This means I can practice my WILD'ing. I know WILDing is a different process from one another. The farthest I get is when I visualize something, my body moves with that visualization. Not sure what to do from here on out. IE: I ran, my leg moved I did pull ups, it felt like I was sitting up as I did them But when you guys attempt to WILD, how do you transition into a Lucid Dream? Does it just suddenly pop up out of no where? Do you have to imagine yourself "walking in" ? How do you know when to open your eyes? I read all of the tutorials and nothing said how to transition unless I missed something :l Earlier today when I was laying down, I put my eyes on my arm and closed them. I saw some flashing and then a little movie clip of different HI (or whatever that light trapped behind your eyes is called)from bears to top hats flying. I'm guessing when the dream is forming it will look somewhat like this. But when this happens, I will have no clue what to do. -Confused hellohihello.
