WILD'ers. How does your Lucid Dream form?

Hellohihello again. I am currently homeschooled so I don't have to get up for school. This means I can practice my WILD'ing.

I know WILDing is a different process from one another. The farthest I get is when I visualize something, my body moves with that visualization. Not sure what to do from here on out.
IE: I ran, my leg moved
I did pull ups, it felt like I was sitting up as I did them

But when you guys attempt to WILD, how do you transition into a Lucid Dream? Does it just suddenly pop up out of no where? Do you have to imagine yourself "walking in" ? How do you know when to open your eyes? I read all of the tutorials and nothing said how to transition unless I missed something :l

Earlier today when I was laying down, I put my eyes on my arm and closed them. I saw some flashing and then a little movie clip of different HI (or whatever that light trapped behind your eyes is called)from bears to top hats flying. I'm guessing when the dream is forming it will look somewhat like this. But when this happens, I will have no clue what to do.

It always just kind of pops up for me. I'll be lying there and then notice a very vivid visualization and then be able to enter the dream. Either that or the visualization will immediately fade and I'll notice I'm in sleep paralysis and then move my dream body to get out of it and try to get visuals to form.

How would you enter it though? Do you do anything or you just enter it, like poof your standing in a dream.? And how does one move their dream body?

Sorry I am asking so many questions but I don't really understand the concept of transition I really would like to learn though.

I think twice I just ended up being in the dream and started doing stuff. Once I used Malac's Fast Grab technique.

When I'm in SP, to move my dream body I just try to move my arm and imagine it touching the wall next to me. I then feel my way to the door and then there I am. I didn't even have to think about the rest of my body, it just kind of came along.

Don't worry about the questions, I'd like to understand the transition better too.

But how do you move your arm if you are in SP? Or I should say, when is a good time to move my real arm.

Well you aren't really moving your real arm. You are trying to, and it will feel like you can't, but then it will feel like you've broken free of it. This is just you imagining it though.

Another thing I've done from SP is either roll out of my bed or do a somersault out of my bed. The hand thing works best for me though.

Ahh so you visualize yourself moving your arm, when you try and move your arm?
Then you just open your eyes and boom?

I never open my eyes in those cases since that wakes me up. I just feel my way around my apartment until visuals form or I wake up. I always do the nose RC to make sure I'm not really stumbling around my apartment.

I don't really visualize myself moving my arm. I actually try to move my arm. I concern myself more with imagining feeling the wall and its texture.

Magical Mike might have some good comments on all this since it seems he has a lot of WILDs.

Oh cool so when you feel the wall the visuals start forming?

This technique should definately work since I guess I have been doing this all along.

Do you have to be quick to stabilize?

I'd be slow about it. If I rush off the dream usually ends. I actually have a lot of trouble getting visuals to form sometimes. I'll have to bang on things to make sound or try licking things or splash water on my face. Most recently I went to the fridge to drink hot sauce. That worked well.

RC whenever. I usually do it once I leave my bedroom, but I don't see a problem with doing it earlier or later.

Glad to help. I hope this advice works for you. Like most LD stuff I'm guessing it differs from person to person.

EDIT: Just thought I should mention. I looked through my DJ quickly and noticed that three of my WILDS were results of auditory hallucinations. They were auditory hallucinations that I thought were real, but when I tried to move to address them in real life, I found myself in SP.

Yup it definitely does. I better do it right away after I feel my wall. I don't want to wake up my family

If anyone has anything to add or explain their transition, that would be great!

Well, every time I have WILDed it has always happened by surprise. I never see them coming. But whatever. Anyways I will just be lying there and all of a sudden the blackness in front of me will expand into this kind of space rather then just blackness. It's like I can't see anything, but I get this very strong feeling that i am in 3D space rather then just staring at the back of my eyes. Then it's like a camera view that pans downward and a whole world comes into view. If I look back up the darkness is gone and filled in by the scene.
      Hope this helps.

Yeah I've experienced that. Very cool.
I've also felt like i've just started spinning in my bed. When I get up im in my room. But after an RC its clear its not.

The transition (usually from SP) is blue, like a blue-white grid that forms into the dreamscape.

for me i just laid down and let my mind see what ever it wanted then focused on it getting brighter and brighter once everything was glowing i tried to grab something (someones arm) i felt myslef unable to move my arm and thought to myslef "no my real arm" (convincing myself that my dream arm was infact real) when i did that i saw my "real arm" reach to grab something and next think i knew i was in my backyard (lucid dreaming)

      hope that helps

ps. its pretty much step for step from the MFG tutorial

It is just like hypnosis, get hypnotised by someone, and ask them to bring you very very deep, as deep as possible! And when you start to drema, its a WILD.
Dreams just randomly forum, you probably will not notice them, until there gone.
