      Foundation of dream unstable?

The other day had a short lucid dream and wanted to know what you guys thought.

I was in my room with 2 DC's and I became lucid for no reason. I then decided to try and stabilize the dream and make it more clearer(going for that realistic view). I did this by looking at everything in my point of view. you know being aware of everything of what is going on in my view. When i did this, in my top left eye i saw streaks of white/sandish light and at the same time i felt what felt like a tremor and/or a sharp jolt. It was brief but it was pretty hard and in the dream i was confused as to what that was and responded with a "um.....okay now...what was that "

You guys know or at least guess what this was?

That's interesting, I've never experienced a sharp "jolt" or anything, but often I do get really weird sensations and things feel like they hurt even though they don't, or are missing even though they arent. Who knows! It's weird. One time I was walking like Quasimotto and banged into my door but hell I just kept going with it b/c, after all, at least I was lucid! I think I woke up laughing.

parbly yer synapses firing in yer left lobe, dude. jes kidding. I tend to have many dreams where things that are normally (as in when they happen while I'm awake) would not even register or would not cause any type of noticeable effect or reaction... When lucid, I think that our brains have a tendency to be oversensitive to things that they are not sensitive to when we're awake (things like neurological to physical interaction, etc.)

Yeah that's weird huh...the brain does some pretty interesting stuff during sleep. Last night I had a dream in which I swam from one beach to another, got up on the sand and laid down. I felt something land on my face so I swatted it away, but it stuck to my hand and bit me. It felt like a bee sting, literally! I looked and it was a spider. Ugh I hate spider bites...
In this crazy world if they don't consider you mad, then you have no confirmation of your own sanity, do you?
Imagine if this crazy world thought you were sane?! Oh my God, worst nightmare!
