      Is this considered Lucid dreaming...

So I've been interested in Lucid Dreaming for a while. But I just started reading a book I bought last night. I read that just reading about it and being interested in it can give you an experience that night. And it did...I believe. Here's what happened.

I was dreaming normally...I was in a store arguing with my girlfriend. And all of a sudden I say to myself "I'm dreaming!" and I feel awake in the dream. But I wasn't in the store anymore. I don't know where I was. Just somewhere random and colorful. And then all of a sudden, for some reason, I imagine sex, everything goes black, I feel like I was doing that for half a second, and I half wake up, but quickly fall asleep. No more lucid dream.

It was weird. Since from when the Lucid dream started, my whole body felt really numb; similar to when you sit on your leg a long time, and your leg falls asleep.

      Any suggestions?

I feel awake in the dream
      how was that feeling?

I think that maybe yes, you had a lucid dream, but a crappy one.
      still, your first one.
anyways, I want you to answer that.

Well, when I say awake...I knew I was dreaming. I was conscious. But it was as if I wasn't fully conscious. It wasn't near as vivid as real life, but I still knew I was awake. I think I read somewhere that there's different levels of lucidity...I'm thinking maybe I was SLIGHTLY lucid?

if you knew you were dreaming, no matter how aware, it was a lucid dream

I have that exact same feeling when I slip into lucid WILD (i believe...) I get a weird sleepy/numb feeling when i realize that i am dreaming and conscious of it. This may be something completely different and correct me if i'm wrong, but i've had the same sensation. When I go lucid during a dream, I can only sense how i'm feeling in dream state (i can't tell what my physical body is feeling).
