How long did it take you to get your first Lucid Dream?

From when you first realised you want an LC so badly.. how long did it take you to achieve your first LC?

When I was seven I induced one after two days of selp hypnosis and affirmations. I didn't even know what lucid dreaming was.

oh and lc doesn't make sense. LD is the acronym for lucid dream

It took me about 2-3 weeks to have my first after I learned about them several years ago. After I found this site it took me about 3 days to have another one. I still havn't had a full lucid since, but I'm still trying.

I think (s)he hit C instead of D, if it was I instead of C then we would have a real problem I did it a few days after I learned about it, the first time I tried a NILD.

Thats a good idea, way to spread the word about lucid dreaming, give books on it as presents for peoples birthdays and christmas!

I'd managed to have some low-level lucids several years ago using dream re-entry. I discovered this site last July and had my first LD 3 weeks after joining. All in all, I've had 5 short LDs, but they've been very enjoyable

I started on October 20th and had some lucid "moments" beginning on Nov 1st, 5th, and 15th. My first full on LD was on Nov. 17th. It was a flying dream and it gave me the biggest rush/hot flash I've ever felt. I've had a total of 8 LD's in the last two months, 10 if I count a couple of short ones. 3 have been flying dreams. Last one was Jan 2nd.

      I use WBTB and MILD.

If you haven't had one yet, just be patient and keep trying without obsessing and it will happen...and believe me, you will know when it happens!

      first lucid.

I first started on september 6th and got my first lucid 2months and 3 days later on november 9th. I had to wake up twice once at 1 and the next at 3 to get it but man was it rewarding. here's the link if you want to see.

I think that the first time I was able to dream lucidly was about 2 years ago. I've been heavily involved with dreaming and such since. I've become quite obsessed, as most people on this forum are. It a neat-o experience.

I had my first LD about 3-4 days after I found out what it was and started researching it. It was short and I was about to wake up, but I had one another few days later that felt like a long time, and it was awesome 8)

I'm a natural, so in life spans it took me maybe three years since birth?
Never had to concentrate on it.

I'm LUCKegrl for a reason. (well, the real reason is my cat's name is lucky. But i guess i'm pretty lucky myself when it comes to lucidity)
Why is it that when i am holding all of the cards, everyone else decided to play chess?

I had a few "natural" LDs over the years before I found out what it was and discovered DV. But after I began trying to do it, it took only a week (maybe less) before I had the first one.

I spontaneously had one. After that it took me a few weeks to have an LD that was pretty short..then another day or two for one that was long enough to count. still not all that vivid.
Just because you aren't paranoid. Don't mean they're not after you.
