My second LD last night was going fine until my eyes started to get very heavy. They got so heavy that not even holding them up would keep them open, it was very annoying. With that came a sudden tiredness in my dream, then i ended up falling to the ground, but by the time i was halfway down, i had vaporized into thin air (what happens to me when i exit lucid dreams, almost like those death cenematics in resident evil). I woke up, and did a reality check, i was dissapointed when it passed, but that dream was, like the first i have had in years. |

You will finally get an answer |

It happens to me too. The worst thing you can do it to struggle with it. like Zez said, just do a prolonging technique. easier said than done though... |
|
Try to make the dream more stable and focus. |

Yes. What sometimes works for me is just not worrying about my eyelids. Focus on your other senses, and hopefully your vision will come back on its own without having to reopen your eyes. |

This actually happened to me today, I was trying to force my eyelids open in my LD but and they were soooo heavy... it was the first time it happened, so weird. |
