      My first Lucid dream

Many times in my life it happened I would start doubting whether I am dreaming. Only few times would I try to control my dreams and more rarely I would manage to do something to control my dreams. I tried many times, but I didn`t succeed.
The closest I got to was semi-lucid dreams, but that was nothing new.
Also, I always doubted that lucid dreams can seem real. Fun yes, but not REAL. I believed this because I never had dreams which wouldn`t have some fantasy elements or at least it would be somehow fake.

Anyway, this night I went to sleep. I dreamed I was in a room with some of my relatives, nothing supernatural or fantasy-like, but it was weird. How, I can`t really describe. I just knew something was not quite right. A lot of time passed in my dream, and slowly I have began realizing, this can`t be happening, can`t be real. Then I realized, I was dreaming. I told it to my relatives. "This is not real. We are dreaming!!" I stepped outside of my house and started walking on grass. At that moment what I`ve seen, heard and felt was way beyond any dreams I have ever dreamed. It was so real, identical to reality. In real life there are situations you`d start doubting in reality, but not in those dreams. Everything was exactly real life-like. Well, with one exception - I knew from before that this ACTUALLY was a dream. I was the only unnatural element in my own dreams. I slowly tried to fly. And I managed it, I was kind of bouncing from air. I remembered this forum and how they said here that your dream fills in background you are not familiar with. I wanted to check something. I flied above my house to see how my dream would create my town. I didn`t try of thinking how my town looks like or anything. I mean imagining even one building would take some time. That is exactly why I wanted to see how it looks like, when created by my dreams. And what happened?

Streets, and even buildings were mostly spot on. I mean, even if there were some differences, I didn`t notice even one thing which would look unreal or out of place.

Soon after I finished flying, my lucid dreams ended. But it was really incredible!!

I hope you will continue trying to have a lucid dream. I will!!! I hope this is not boring!!

Not boring at all and quite interesting. I've had many lucid dreams, however, only a handful felt as real as you described.
