Even if you do understand the physics behind it all, I don't think you could accurately recreate the actions you'd be making to do anything extreme like parkour. I know some basic figure skating jumps and such, and they are quite difficult in waking reality, however, in my lucids, whenever I'd try practicing them, I'd land them all with flawless execution and checkout. It's fun, but it's not actually productive, in my opinion.

I haven't yet actually had this as a direct goal in my dreams yet, but I do have somewhat of experience with this. I'm an all-star cheerleader, and I do a lot of tumbling, and I've been doing it for 5 years, so I'm very familiar with the feel of every skill.

Once in a non-lucid I dreamed I was tumbling, and the passes I was doing actually were 100% like they are when I do them in the real world. Then again, I'm VERY familiar with air-awareness and knowing exactly what happens when you do them a certain way.

Also, once in a lucid, I was flying up and somehow the sky turned into the ground, so I decided to flip on the way down. This was somewhat out of the norm of what I am used to, but my body responded almost exactly as I would imagine if that happened in real life, except of course I was still alive when I landed.

Still, you are not practicing a skill to learn, just repeating/recalling it. No improvement.

True. I don't have consistent enough LD's yet to where I could practice my skills and stuff. I think over time though, with consistent enough lucids, I could improve on my skills practicing the correct technique.

Once I can LD at least twice a week, you bet I'll be practicing though. Either way, if it doesn't help, it won't hurt.
