The night I joined dreamviews, I had three nightmares where I was laying in bed, I was terrified so I closed my eyes and told myself it was just a dream, and woke up. That happened three times that night, and I knew I was dreaming, just was too scared.

My next DILD was a week after joining DV. I suddenly just realized I was dreaming, and quickly tried to have sex with the lady next to me, and I woke up within 5 seconds of becoming lucid.

Dude, when I was lucid, I was trying to get to a portal. Then, some kids were high-jacking my time machine/car. So, instead of knowing I can make another appear, I stopped them. I woke up before getting to the portal.

I am of the opinion that you can't really waste time in a lucid. Every experience helps you grow and learn for the next one, no matter what happens. Not only that, I've also found that since I've stopped wasting my time worrying about "wasting my time" I've had much more enjoyable LDs. It's nice not concerning yourself too much with goals and the like.
