Dream of the Month March 2010

Post your favorite dream of the month.

I usually have trouble flying so I asked a DC for a pill to grow wings and was given a small seed. I ate it and felt the muscles in my back twist and deform, and then wings grew. I had no trouble flying above the clouds.

Not too great but the way the wings felt was really neat. Give it a try.

Hopefully some of you will have longer and better stories.

      One dream entry per person.

My dream of the month would be when i was going to watch a bull fight in a van.

The only problem is that the bull got loose, so we had to run for our lives and some people got trapped by the bull.

But i can't remember how i did it, but i was able to save the people and stop the bull.

I'll copy and paste mine here later. But there is still a few days left so it could change.

This is what the dream gallery is for though. I was thinking that at the end of each year it would be cool to have a thread like this for people to post their favorite Lucid of the year.

I was lucid in my English class. I know that there is this new guy and class, and I see him talking with some girl. I decide to sit behind him. I say hi, and he turns around. He mentions how he has "lived in every country in the United States" . At first I thought he meant continents...then I got it. Somehow, I got into some trouble for talking with him. And, I wanted out of this school. Somehow at this point, I am with one of my friends. We bust out of the classroom to find a window to fly out of- I don't do walls. We finally find one, and the whole class is after us! I start to fly through it with her. It looks SO odd "outside". We are out of the normal-looking school, and out here is this big dome, I think the glass cieling was an odd green color. We are flyin, and bustin the domes- there are more then one of them. Then, I see the girl that was talking to the guy before, and the dude. My friend and I commence running! I'm holdin onto her hand because I can't seem to run fast in dreams. She's helping me walk faster! This goes on for a bit. Then, the girl finally catches my arm and says "gotcha!". But then I come up with an awesome new plan! I told my friend to follow me- it was implied to do so quickly. I see a mirror, and hop inside of it to teleport.

We are now in a very odd looking place- since I hadn't thought before hand where I wanted to go-there was no time. It was a room with a bunch of mirrors! Mostly about the same size. From wall to cieling! We were in a room, but I also saw a long hallway near us, and I am sure that this place would go somewhere else. They may have been fun mirrors. This place was a little too creepy for me- so I wanted to use one of them to teleport. I ask my friend where she wants to go. She says to a school. Then I told her to invision a school hallway with green lockers.

Now we are at a school- just what we wanted! But, the lockers were more like this color then the actual green that lockers often are. The lockers were super short, it was so weird! I think there were also those no backed benches inbetween the rows of them. I did see some hunched people-kneeling, sitting- near them. We were on the second floor, and could see down to the first floor. There were stairs relativly near us. It was nice and bright in there, since all of the walls were windows. I believe that I saw trees and swampiness outside of the windows. I then see a friendly tan colored fat poodle. He is hunched down, and is wagging his tail at me.
I think it would be this one....I just had it last night .
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

Nice work with the teleporting! That's something I need to work on.

Here is my favorite one this year so far. I had a really kick ass zombie Lucid last night but I still like this one better.

      Lucid Dream # 17 of 2010
      Best dreamsign recognized
      No reality check needed

This entire dream was very vivid and fun. Kind of odd since I've not had much recall in my naps at all the last couple of weeks.

I'm on the run from the law, I don't know why. (Maybe watching too many prison shows lately.) It's night but there is a lot of light form the moon. I'm outside climbing around a group of grassy hills. I climb to the top of one really steep one, that is more like a towering grassy cliff. At the top is a bowl shaped depression. This seems like a good place to hide. I lay on my side in the bottom of the depression, and curl up, planning to spend the night here. I can here the voices of people below. They are searching for me. One lady in particular is in charge of my capture. She is not a normal cop, a bounty hunter maybe.

Suddenly I see a hand, then the top half of the bounty hunter woman pulling herself up over the lip of the bowl shape. She sees me, and is so startled to find me there that she loses her grip and starts to fall. I reach out and grab her arm and she is dangling over the side. fall. "Don't drop me." She pleads. "Don't worry I've got you, I won't let you fall." I pull her to safety. She is grateful that I saved her life but she informs me that she still needs to bring me in. I understand, but I'm not about to let that happen.

My fear of prison is greater than my fear of falling and I leap head first off the cliff. As I leap I wonder how I will manage to land without being killed. But Then I become Lucid and I swoop upwards high into the sky. The bounty hunter woman is a small speck below. I shout down to her. "Just try and catch me now!" And I start flapping my arms in a silly imitation of a flying bird.

She yells something up at me I don't remember her exact words. They were not angry words, more of a playful frustration at my ability to get away from her. I realize that she is now Lucid too, and she has decided to take me up on my challenge. She leaps into the air and starts flying in my direction. Ha, she doesn't have a chance. There is no way she can match my speed, height, and over all flying skills.

I fly for a while, then turn to watch as she tries to get closer. I'm in an upright standing position, and I look around at the landscape and forest below. I'm struck by a sense of profound joy at being here. And I yell to the woman. "I so love it here!" "I could never wake up!" As loud as I can I shout several times. "I wish I would never wake up!"

Then fearing that these thoughts may cause me to be woken up, I start rubbing my hands together. Then I continue flying. I come to this massive tree and land on one of it's limbs. The tree is almost like something out of the "Avatar" movie, only there is no greenery on it. It's a labyrinth of giant trunks high in the sky. The trunks are so wide I can run along them with ease. The bounty hunter woman has made it to the tree and continues the chase. But now it has just become a playful dreaming game. And this is the highlight of the dream.

For the longest time we run along the many branching limbs. With my dreaming agility there is no way she could ever catch me. There are vines hanging from many of the limbs. I run and leap, doing flips through the air grabbing vines, swinging then letting go, flipping and landing on other limbs. running and running, swinging and flipping through the tree. What a joy.

Eventually we come to the end of the tree, I leap and fly out into open air. The bounty hunter follows. She is close to me now, but it's no longer a chase. We are just together.

I see this somewhat wide canyon. Lining the opposite side, is this army of really mean looking chimpanzees. They are making lots of noise, screaming in the chimpanzee way. The bounty hunter says to me. " You better not be planning on going over there." Now I have to, of course. I swoop across the canyon and land amidst the raging chimpanzees. But before any of them have a chance to attack me, I leap off the edge, swooping back to the bounty hunter. I say to her, "This is face your fears week you know." (Just made that up on the spot.) She takes my lead, and I watch as she swoops across the canyon as I did. She passes right through the line of chimpanzees, and continues beyond. I move to follow and abruptly wake up.

      Steve Irwins Dream (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

My god, this was a freaking weird dream.

It started with Steve Irwin hiding behind brick wall. There was some kind of druge trade going on behind the other side of the wall. He went around the corner and jumped towards the group and screamed "Steve Irwin! Under Cover Cop!". He hit an gas tank thing (You know, the ones that you put in your grill?) and flipped onto his back. The people ran away while he was laying there. Eventually, he got up, only to find there was a bottle stuck to his face (it was kind of like half a beer bottle...). He punched it to break it off, but it appeared again. He did this like 20-30 times, each time it creeped up further on his head. Eventually it got stuck to his for head and he just said "Screw this..." and forgot about it. The scene switched to my school. I was standing there and Steve Irwin just stared at me (at that point it was in third person) and "gave" me the drem (now it was 1st person). I went to this basketball camp. There was not really anything for me to say about this part of the dream. So let's just skip it. Than it went back to Steve Irwins Third person dream. He was standing on this island type thing. He seemed to know that it was a dream because he said "Hmm, how will I get out of this dream?" That should've been a clue to me to tell me that I'm dreaming but it didn't... Anyways, after awhile of thinking he said "I've got it! The dream elevator!" Right when he said that, a hot air balloon appeared. He was then discussing the most "fun" way of using the hot air balloon. He summoned democrats, republicans, The King of England, and a few modern people. They all went into the "dream elevator" and then the dream faded out.

Damn, that was a long type... I have another dream and I'll type it later.

      Drunken Sith Lord (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Well, apparently in my dream one of my teachers had a kid that ended up being a Sith Lord (I guess it was a Star Wars-Real Life mix...). It was my job to try to find him and kill him. Well, for a large portion of this dream, I remember just running through this huge library with a lot of stair cases that really didn't lead anywhere :s. After awhile, I found two classmates of mine that where trying to find the Sith Lords aswell (I guess it was safe to assume that there was a secret place for Sith Lords in the Library). Eventually, we found the trapdoor, but then someone came who we didn't particularly want finding the Sith Lords as well. Eventually I just jumped down the trap door and my two classmates closed the trapdoor and didn't let the other guy in. I found the Sith Lords who were, odd enough, just baically chillin with the Jedi's. They all kind of seemed like drunk idiots. So, eventually, I left (after throwing a few insult to the Sith). I went to my mom and asked her which one was the one I was supposed to kill. She said "Are you stupid?" She just pointed to one of the Sith who was chugging bottles of beer at a time. I was just about to kill him, but than I guess a huge fight broke out at the table and it went into a "time freeze". That is all I remember of this dream.
Send her a letter with a dead squirrel and a message "Like this squirrel, my love for you has expired"?
