Does this count as a lucid

I don't know how i recognized that this was a dream, but it was until the very end of the dream. About 5 minutes before i ended the dream, i said to someone, "Just to make sure something doesn't happen, i'll end this dream". So does this count as a lucid? Or was it only for those 5 minutes?

If you're aware you are dreaming for any amount of time it counts as a lucid

Did you really know that you were dreaming, or was that just something you said? If you were aware you were dreaming, even for just a second, it would technically count. Also, 5 minutes is a long time for a dream...most people here would be ecstatic to get 5 minutes lucid lol. I can't tell if you are exaggerating or not though, maybe you meant to say 5 seconds?

Yeah, you're right it was more like 5 seconds as i remember now, because almost right after i said that, i made the dream end by shake my head fast. So, yes i was aware that i was dreaming for those few seconds. So, that means two straight days of lucid dreaming! Which is a milestone for me.
