      Bizarre DEILD/WILD

I had just woken up from a dream, and was lying down with full awareness of my physical body, when I decided to DEILD. Within a few seconds, I was feeling the vibrations of SP, and a second after that, it stopped. I assumed I had either failed or ended up in an LD, so I sat up. There was a sort of glowing figure next to my bed, and it simply said "Willy, I show you no disrespect." and disappeared. (Note that my name is not Willy!) At that point I assumed I was dreaming, but I did an RC just to make sure, and, strangely enough, I failed. I tried again, but it kept saying I was awake. I looked around and even walked around the house a bit, but every sign indicated I was awake. Eventually, I just went back to sleep.

Could this have been a dream in which I just couldn't get an RC to work, or did I hallucinate, or what?

Maybe a hallucination? That would scare the hell out of me though. It seems like you were awake, how real was your house? If the reality checks failed you might have been awake.

Like I said, I'm absolutely sure I was awake.

My uneducated guess is that if you were awake (and it seems like you were), that it was a really, really strong hallucination!

As I recall, when the SP vibrations stop, you are very close to the point of sleep/dreaming.

      Someone with more knowledge?
