Last night I experimented with the binary beats for the first time.
My impression was that they were Theta *drivers.
I've done some work sometime ago in a bio-feedback lab.
And I'm familiar with the feeling that different states produce alpha, Theta, etc.
However the theta**produced using biofeedback is not generally the same type of theta that is produced through something like Zen meditation.
Theta in Zen is more hemispherical in nature.
The theta produced by biofeedback*seems to be more localized and it always seams to give me a headache.
*the binary beats replicated that *experience.
Later in the binary beat where the voiceover comes on saying something to the effect, "this is only a dream, reality check" this voiceover actually woke me up.
I turn the binary beat off not thinking much of it and went to sleep.
later however*I became fully aware during my dreams.
I think the binary beat must have acted as *a posthypnotic trigger.
So I thought to myself what is the most interesting thing I can do?
I decided I wanted to experiment with an, out of body experience\astral projection.
*I attempted to separate the bodies and got a faint vibration going.
Lately I've been working on pranayama's so wall I was asleep I change my breathing pattern to a Pranayama.*
This worked very well, the vibration increased and with my third eye I could see and feel the Chacras begin to really spin as they were propelled by the breath.
However a very strong vibration began in my lower spine accompanied by a deep buzzing noise.
This shocked me and I lost concentration.
It retrospect,*this must of been the kundalini brought on by the pranayama.
*Later that night I did separate my body's, however I don't think it was a true out of body experience I think it was more of a lucid dream.
It had more the qualitative feel of the dream then an *OBE.
I just decided to fly through the roof of my house, it was a dark cloudy night and stormy gray sky. Not much interesting, so I went back in my body to sleep.
