sense of touch while lucid dreaming?

im really weirded out by my last lucid dream. ive experienced conscious dreaming many times but never was i able to feel pain or anything like that. i mean actually feel it. but last night i dreamt i saw my father who had passed away about a year ago and was having a fully controlled conversation with him the only unusual thing is when i hugged him and touched his face i could feel his weight as he hugged me and the stubble from his beard undoubtedly this was unlike anything ive experienced before while dreaming, i mean i could really feel everything, even when i woke up.

Nice experience sleepy949 About 2 years ago while using brainwave programs to help me have lucid dreams and astral projection,In my dream I started to get up from where i was lying and touching and feeling the furniture at my living room..I am not certain if it was LP or AP because i could not see, but i could sense resistance when i was trying to pull or push an object...So your experience is not unique..

Your brain was just more active at the moment. I've felt touch, heat, weight in vivid dreams before, too. It was just a dream.
