What triggered your first lucid experience; what was your first instinct?

1. Do you remember how old you were when you had your first lucid? 2. Do you remember what triggered your knowledge that you were dreaming? 3. What was your first instinct? My first memory of being lucid was in 1st grade (around 6 years old). I was asked to solve a problem on the chalkboard, that was very difficult. I knew then, that I was dreaming. I became scared, that I would be trapped in my dream and not be able to wake up. My first instinct was to try to wake myself up! I remember, I did something out of character for me, to wake myself up...I don't remember what it was, exactly.
