So last night I was having some really random (as usual) dream that took place in a mall setting, despite the fact that I never go to the mall, at least I rarely do. There was some pretty bizarre stuff going on but that type of thing never gets my attention during a dream.
So I started talking to my one friend and he was describing how he was having false awakenings, although he didn't use that word. he just said he woke up, then he woke up again. Again this didn't catch my attention.
But then my other friend says "Hey, are you still having those dreams?"
I paused. That single word "dreams". I froze for a second.
I knew exactly what was going on. Everything exploded with clarity. I had heard people say that lucid dreaming feels like the real world, and it definitely does! It was so real!
For some reason I lifted up my left hand and touched my shoulder with my pointer finger.
It's almost as if that was some sort of switch for me saying, "ok your dreaming. You will be lucid. Ready? GO!"
Then I immediately started floating (not necessarily flying) towards the ceiling. It was such a wonderful feeling unlike my last lucid dream in which I went into a panic due to my lack of ability to fly. I had a feeling that my dream wouldn't last very long and unfortunately it didn't.
I woke up about 5 seconds later. Also strangely, after awaking, and before writing down my dreams, I sat still for a second, and randomly without intention started entering a kind of WILD state. It's not like I was trying to do it, but my whole body was vibrating for like 5 seconds. No luck though. But I wasn't disappointed. this was my most pleasant LD so far.
