Unhappy I wasted 2 lucids last night...

I had a normal dream then all of a sudden I'm in my bedroom at my desk for no reason and it's dark.So I pinched my nose and realized I was dreaming.I don't remember what happened next but the dream might have ended

The second time I was in bed thinking about dreaming and I was like:What if this is a dream too?I was sure it was reality because nothing strange happened and my vision was blurry because I was not wearing glasses. But I pinched my nose anyway only to realize that it was all a dream!!!So I got out of bed and tried to go outside by walking through the window.Only it didn't work!!!
I pinched my nose again and was able to breath.I didn't know what to do and while I was trying to figure it out the dream ended

Does anyone know why I wasn't able to fly?Usually it's very easy for me and it gets harder only if I lose lucidity. But in this dream I was definitely lucid enough...

      Unhappy Talk about unlucky!

      Hey
      Wow...that probably broke you heart,didn't it?...haha
Strange...I once tried to jump out of the window, but felt scared even though I've done it before and knew it was a dream...eventually I forced my self to jump out, which resulted in me simply falling out and holding on a platform at my building...
You see,it's one of the things I don't get...sometimes things just don't happen...
As for your problem, perhaps you were not 'lucid' enough to realize that it's possible...
Next time instead of trying to fly out...get to a tall building (such as the Burj Khalifa ) and jump down...that should work...i think...
      Hope it helps,man...

The idea is to remain in a constant state of departure while always arriving..

Why not better the Lucid Building. It is ten times taller than that small Burj Khalifa building of yours.

      In dreams, all is possible.

And for the OP, you level of lucidity was low, that is all, do not stress about it!

I actually had another lucid last night and had the same problem:I couldn't go throw walls or fly.But then in the dream I had the idea to imagine that mater is getting out of me through my hands. It worked without a problem!!!Then I was able to walk throw the wall and fly.

My first lucid only lasted ten seconds. Your first lucids aren't going to be epic adventures. Think of them as just stepping-stones to the long-ass lucid dreams that are going to last hours and all that.

      yeah I know....
it's just that some of my first lucids were actually quite long and extremely vivid. In all my last lucids after I gained lucidity and start flying my dream ended.Does anyone know why?I'm sure it wasn't the excitement since I've already learned how to control it and I had other lucids in which I was more excited and the dream didn't end.
