For the first workbook entry, I'd like you to explain briefly what meditation means to you, and to describe what you hope to have accomplished by the end of the semester. It doesn't matter if you write 2 lines or 20 lines, just try to put your thoughts into words.
I always thought that meditating was sorta a way to escape reality for a bit to get yourself to a peaceful state of mind. Kind of like daydreaming?? Don't mean to sound dumb. lol
I guess I hope to accomplish to successfully meditate haha
Or find a good meditation technique to my liking.
Definitely looking forward to all you have to teach!

Uraki, thanks for creating your workbook! I would have replied sooner, but I've been bogged down with stuff. I guess meditation has the same effect as daydreaming. When you daydream, you're sorting through all your stray thoughts subconsciously, just like when you dream. When you get to a peaceful state of meditation, you've let all those thoughts go, so that you don't need to sort through them.
