    3. I had false awakenings from my teens - about once a year. I didn't know what they were. I had another false awakening a few years back that was really vivid so I started researching about it and got into lucid dreaming. I'm definitely not a natural! I've had a lot of LDs but I've also put a lot of work in.

Bobblehat, can I ask you, how did you learn lucid dreaming? Or are you a natural? I`m curious, so don`t let me wait :-)

However, while you are practising the visual awareness, you always have lucid dreaming in the back of your mind so maybe it's that that causes a change, rather than the visual awareness itself? I...

The goal will be to devise a test that tells you if you are dreaming of lucid dreaming or are actually lucid dreaming. Or maybe there could be a technique/strategy to turn a dream of lucidity into...

I could set an alarm to go off at random times during the night. That would make me pretty angry. But I won't, because I enjoy normal sleep too much :cheeky:

Yes, I've tried it. My experience: I could see the most ridiculous and unrealistic thing imaginable in a dream and not realise it's a dream.
