Hi! Haha yup, it can get confusing. When you join chat as you did the other day and nobody is talking at the time, you will not see any text, since you only see from the time you joined and not before. But if you type something (usually you do it on the line at the very bottom of the window), people will respond. And if you stay there for a bit, others may join and start talking. And no worries, I started out as a pure forumite, haha. But it's nice to chat live with other members. Talk about dreams or what's for dinner - our 2 main topics, haha. Hi gab! Sorry I'm not that familiar with Web chats. All of the time I've been on DV, I have always just visited the forum. I had clicked on the chat thinking it was a similar thing to the forum, and it brought me to a white screen that said #DVLounge at the top. I didn't see any other text or conversations, so I thought it was the same thing as the DV Lounge forum and went there instead. Forgive me for the novice question, but are there certain times if day when the chat is open? I understand that it is live messages, but besides that is it the same thing as the forum? Thanks
