Those books you mentioned in the BD thread, would you mind saying their titles? I've been wanting to read Antonio Damasio for some time now, but at this point I'm stuck on several books about sociology of mental health =/ Also, if you don't mind me asking, what field do you exactly study/work at?

It's really interesting, I actually think I did read that thread. It was the one where someone tried it using tdcs but said that wouldn't work since tdcs is said to only neuro-modulate unlike tms which can activate any neurons. I haven't looked into actual TMS or tdcs too much but I have read a few articles on brain activation during lucid dreaming. I'm still piecing the puzzle together for myself and I have a lot to go through. I am quite interested because in the near future I might be able to pair up with some medical students who are willing to work with me, we could get funding from various sources and I hope to pursue it in some kind of way. It doesn't seem like anyone here ever got anywhere into it, I'll have a look into that guy, alan hobson.
So sorry dutchraptor, was meant to answer your message a few days ago :x I got left wondering in which topic I posted regarding TMS, but like you, it's something that gets me very curious. I know that Alan Hobson told someone here in DV that he would reserve that hypothesis for the future, but I don't think anyone has tested it yet. I still want to give it a deep look to see if it can be possible in theory, because some obstacles seem present, like the maximum range of the device. Thanks to that scientifical article regarding brain activation during lucid dreaming we now know where to point lol, so that's a step foward. Have you read that thread created some years ago here in DV as well?
I see you've commented on a few posts about TMS and it's use on lucid dreaming. Have you ever gotten anywhere with it, I'm surprised no one has tried it before, it's a relatively simple process.
