- I'm trying to figure out how I'm supposed to be giving back to the world most effectively. I've gone to college a bit, but I'm on break, because I have a hard time reconciling the present system of higher education with my actual desire for living life in the present moment. While there, I studied Biology and English as a double-major.
Since then, I've been a professional photographer for about a year, hired by a company to shoot their inventory and upload it to a site. Then I joined a Musician's Co-Op and did tons of psychadelics. It was at this point that I started to understand more about the malleability of this reality, and I attempted to manifest a very strange life situation....and succeeded.
It turns out that there was a millionaire that lived down the street from the Co-Op on a private road. One day he came down and was asking everybody to sign a petition for his peacocks, whom some grumpy neighbors were trying to get rid of for the noise of their cawing during mating season. A few days later he was driving by as a friend and I were walking to our car, and we talked with him.
He said, "I know what's going on. You're a bunch of hippies, and I know because I'm an old hippie. So if you have any desire, feel welcome to stop by my house. It is [address]. I have some very strange statues and art pieces you might enjoy." We said that we would, and did.
When I went down to his house, it turned out that he has one of the biggest collections of extremely rare occultic literature that I'd ever seen. None of my friends understood the significance of his collection quite as much as I did, occult knowledge being of great interest to me. Over time, I formed a bond with this eccentric man and, through him, some extremely famous artists and spiritual leaders.
All this past summer, I organized a huge event and helped produce a documentary about the Ojibwe chief, Dennis Banks. Ultimately, however, I left this world. The man had fallen in love with me and wanted me to marry him. He was 60, and I am 21 and unready for marriage.
Right now I'm trying to figure out what I'll do next, but in this time of self-renewal I've begun the attempt of lucid dreaming. Who knows what happens next?
