    1. My favourite Neil Gaiman novel is actually the Graveyard Book. It's a kids' book, and I really like how concise it is compared to his other books. I find he goes off on random tangents in a lot of stories, but he had to stick very closely to one storyline in this one.

If you decide to check out Sandman, IMO it's easiest to read one of the spinoffs first, as they're a lot less intimidating. I haven't read anywhere near the entire Sandman series, but Lucifer is 10 short books and a lot easier to get ahold of. (Also where I got the "Samael" inspiration from.) It's very, very dark in a lot of places, but a great story.
    2. To be fair, Neil Gaiman inspired dreams sound pretty crazy and likely very entertaining to recall in the morning. I wouldn't mind having a few. Oh man, Sandman is one of the few things of his I haven't read, I don't read a lot of graphic novels. Nice, that's true. Even so you manage to make them entertaining to read rather than an info dump. At the moment I'm reading Neverwhere. Do you have a favorite book?
    3. I'm glad the sig helped you find an author you like! Haha, I don't really blame him for any particular dream, but I was reading a lot of Sandman and such at the time, so it was definitely an influence.

Although to be honest, a lot of the dialogue I write in my dream journal is approximate. Dialogue is a way to quickly get across a lot of information without spending a bunch of time on description, so it works pretty well for DJs even if it isn't exact.

What are you reading these days, btw?
    4. Woah, mystery finally solved. I actually got into Neil Gaiman because of your signature, so thanks for that. I assume you're a fan of his stuff too, right? When you're not blaming him for causing you to dream of bread mice, hahaha. Great journal by the by, always fascinating to see people recount their dreams in so much detail. I wish I could remember dialogue so well.
    5. A quote from one of my first dreams that I posted on the site. Looks like it was "Voices trying to limit your dream control," where I tried to get to the moon. Good times!
    6. Ah yeah, I know the feeling. I haven't spoken to you since 2010 so I figured I'd give you a message. I've always wondered where your signature quote came from.
    7. Oh, you know, life being busy as per usual. How are things going with you?
    8. Hey Samael, how's it going?
    9. Yes. That must be it.
    10. Well, considering I got back from work, oh, five minutes ago... not so much. Time zone troubles?
