Thread: Nightmare Help

I need help determining the potential causes of this nightmare. It's not always at the front of my mind, but i can't seem to entirely forget it, and once i start to remember it all comes flooding back.


Im standing in a room, a white featureless cube. Gravity doesn't matter (It's a dream) so i could walk on the walls or the roof. I don't though but it's understood. There's something in the room with me, it's pacing back and forth, i can't exactly remember what it is (this dream is about 7 years old at this point, non-recurring but definitely haunting). As it paces back and forth its either talking to me or I've interacted with it before. It expects something of me or its angry with me for something. As i stand there it finishes pacing and it attacks me, I stand there as it rips its claws over me. What i remember about this part is that the attacking and ripping is sudden and seemingly out of nowhere. It returns to its calm demeanor, walking around thinking, and it goes back to ripping me. I think i could feel the pain at the time but that wasn't what bothered me, it was the suddeness that something as harmless as that calm white box could turn so violent. I may have just answered my own question, but any further analysis is welcome.
