my own head is out to get me!

Alright so this is my first post ever! and I just wanted to see what you guys have to say about something peculiar going on in my head... so in the early months of this year as well as months of last year I was having a lot of recurring end of the world dreams, they would constitute mainly of tsunamis and they then went on to tornadoes. I also have however have had alien invasion with them taking over and killing the human race... O_o either way! thats not the purpose of this post, the purpose is that apart from having the usual end of the world dream, my mind seems to have changed gears and now I am having a bunch of "someone is out to get me" dreams. Last one involved escaping from three people, two women and one man who needed me to obtain something and then they will kill me. At first it was me along with two other people i believe who I made sure escaped. The way that I was able to escape was with the help of a ghost....? yeah I know more weirdness to the dream... then after running down a couple flight of stairs I ended up in a human oven with other people who were on display waiting to be killed for the entertainment of others.... pretty morbid... I ended up getting out of there, but once I did the two chicks who were earlier after me were waiting for me outside with two huge guns. I simply began throwing anything and everything i could at them so that they didnt have a moment to shoot at me. I woke up to one of them having gotten closer to me... while I was hiding behind a display of battery packs which was what I kept throwing at them.
The only reason why Im posting this is because this is just one of MANY dreams that I've had where people are out to kill me, and the first time to be in a human oven O_o that was just too weird...
I looked being chased on dream moods and came up with this:
The pursuer or attacker who is chasing you in your dream may also represent an aspect of yourself. Your own feelings of anger, jealousy, fear, and possibly love, can manifest itself as the threatening figure.
Which i understand... but I feel like theres much more to it.... It also suggests that next time to simply turn around and ask them why they're chasing me... but I've had absolutely no luck gaining any type of control over my dreams so i doubt that I could do that....
      soooo Any ideas?
I know its pretty confusion but any insight to this would be great! thank you!

I'm not quite sure why you might be having these dreams, but I think the best thing to do is to confront your attackers. I also have chase dreams quite often but I usually don't worry about it all that much. I've taught myself to just confront my attackers and just remind myself that I cannot be harmed. One time I was having a lot of dreams where people were trying to kill me or where I was in pain, so the next night I repeated to myself before I went to bad "If I am attacked I am dreaming." That night I dreamed that a monster with blade like arms was stabbing me, but then I just reminded myself that it was a dream and then the pain went away. After that I think I either left or teleported away. So, basically the best thing to do is just remind yourself that you can't be harmed. I also had another dream where I had jumped into some water off of a cliff and saw a giant sea monster. At first I was scared but then I reminded myself that i could not be harmed and instead fought the sea monster and defeated it.

If you are having a lot of similar dreams then it can make it even easier to become lucid. Just tell yourself before you go to bed that if you are being chased then you are dreaming. Once you master dream control, dreaming can be a lot of fun.

Thanks Kaira, I'll be sure to give that a try, dream control is still something completely new to me and certainly a hard thing as well. I havent been able to gain much control at all. But I wont give up just yet! I'll be sure to try what you mentioned tonight!
