Hard to explain. Cant keep up. almost 2 seperate numbers counting

When i was very young. probably around 4 or 5 i woke up around 11pm(within 15 minutes) every night, screaming and crying, for months. Its extremely hard to explain.
first example: Imagine 2 seperate numbers of the same number. They are both counting upward one at a time (21-21)(22-22)and so on. But imagine the number on the right (23-23) is counting faster then the one on the left = (24-25) (25-27) (26-29). next thing you know the numbers like this=(100-10000) And you get extreme anxiety from this.

second example: Imagine a single stepping stone in front of you. As you move your foot onto the stepping stone another one "appears". 10 steps later everything is fine when, BLAM! 2 stepping stones appear every time you step onto one. Its almost a feeling like you cant catch up. Next thing you know theres thousands of stones and you feel its impossible to catch up.
