      First nightmare for....years.

Okay, so I all I can remember, is being in my house, and I am strangling someone. It's dark, I must've become aware half way through a dream plot or something, anyway I can FEEL my hands squeezing the breath out of this victim/culprit/enemy IDK.

Then, flash of light, I'm in another room in my house, it's thundering and lightning outside, I remember seeing the shadows of the raindrops on the window on this new mans face.

The man.......I recognise him, I've never feared him before so I don't know what really happened in this dream for him to appear, he's one of the villians sidekicks in the 101 Dalmations movie, more commonly known as Mr. Weasley. Ginger hair and all. Expect he was bald. Scarred face, and MENACING.

I didn't even go near him, but I KNEW he was more than capable of disarming me mentally and physically. I got the impression that he was some kind of immovable object. Like if I touched him he'd be stone like. Still pretty scary though.

Then another flash, I'm in my bedroom, playing a game on my 360, and its dark again, there's a man with his back to me. He's facing the tele too. I can see him dribbling on my floor. The next instant I jump up and literately begin choking him, I can distinctly remember my hands crushing his windpipe, although I never fully remember his face. Like no details at all. Black hair maybe that's it.

While I'm choking him and he's wriggling under my grip, he's literately losing life before my eyes, I look up to see BALD WEASLEY again! Just in my doorway, illuminated outline, creepy eyes.

      one question- DAFUQ BRAIN?!?!?!

Well that's a nightmare and a half. On the topic that you don't have nightmares regularly this is very similar to me, but when I do get nightmares... trust me there scary
I know it's hard to do but the best thing to do is to use these nightmares to your advantage, it's a dream sign so you might as well get lucid

Thanks for the reply, I just think its because I really can't remember the last time I had a nightmare, I've had wacky dreams with scary characters but this is the first time in aaaaages I've FELT....it wasn't terrifying just....very intimidated, like if I pushed too far, I'd get consequences. I wasn't lucid, hopefully ill question my next barrier/scary DC.

Overcome it with kindness and logic.

His face is burned into my memory lol, scar running through eye, the atmosphere was really like out of a horror movie.

I have been experiencing wet dreams for the first time in like three years. Like two a week , for a few weeks now I think. Theyre never long in duration though, 10 seconds at the most. maybe I am just getting in tune more with REM sleep?

      Peace

Sorry to double post, but I can remember fragments more now lately, and recently, I can remember a random bizarre dream, then it jus randomly jumps to being sexual in nature. But a different scene everytime. Meh, IDK

      peace

I know the feeling! I have had some CRAZY scary nightmares and can remember the face of this man who was extremely scary. I used to get nightmares all the time. I haven't had one in quite a while though...hopefully this post doesn't jinx me. xD Anyway do you remember doing anything the night before? Eating sugar, watching scary movies, etc? Or did it just occur out of the blue?

My sugar intake is ridiculous. I can't really taste sugar in my tea unless its more than 3 spoon fulls. I have maybe 2 cups of tea a day. I have watched countless horror films. I can handle ALOT scary films, gory ones ect. The only film to EVER give me nightmares is Freddy Kruger and The GRUDGE! Seriously. That woman. I despise her.
I mean, I know in reality if she was crawling toward me I'd just run up at toe punt her in the face, but she is STILL, creepy as fudge.

PS. This truly is the first time I've ever remembered doing this, I woke up yesterday morning, 3.30am-ish. I went to toilet. Back to sleep. From then, I can fully remember waking up 6 times and can remember having dreams each time. Or rather leaving and entering them.

I can remember 4 dreams. I THINK. One involved my cat talking. Another I shot my brothers friend in the neck, in my hometown, a massive snowbAll fight turned bad. I just had a gun lol. The next two are the same dream?

I'm on a boat with people fighting everywhere. My family is in vicinity. I wake up after punching through a garage door with knuckle dusters.

I woke up here. I remember WANTING to dive back in my dream. I didn't stay aware it seems. I'm back on the back. A huge purple tail rises out of water. So me my mum and sister all decide to jump IN the water. Dafuq logic?
The water is BLACK. I remember fearing what lurked beneath. I had a small knife. As something grabs my sister. I back at the...tentacle? Anyway. My sis gets saved. My mum is dragged down into the murky abyss. I wake up in real life kicking as I was being grabbed in my dream.

Any significance to my mum going. My sis being saved?

I think what is significant here is that you are FEARING what you see. If you think "hey, this is MY dream, I can do whatever I want to however I want to, with whoever I want to" you might be able to conquer some of your fear. This would probably require you to be lucid though. Do you go to bed with a fear of having nightmares again? Even slightly?

I don't have a fear of nightmares in the slightest. I'd have nightmares of grudge and Freddy. Any others? I probably don't remember. Literately. I never fear anything whilst drifting off to sleep. I'm gonna post a desperate thread. Not to fill the pages with MY threads, just because its to do with a possible sleep disorder I may have. My sleep cycles different to everyone I know.
