      Thumbs down Nightmares every night!

      Hey all.

So, I've been having nightmares almost every night now. The thing is, they're not really scary nightmares. They're the ones where your freaked out, but somehow, you know its not real. In fact, in one, I was lucid, but barely aware. I was trying to wake myself up, that's the only proof that I was semi-lucid.

Anyways, its not so much I don't want these nightmares, I'd take them over not dreaming any day of the week (even Mondays), its just... I miss the old dreams, the ones where I have no idea what it means and every night getting closer to becoming lucid. The ones where I wake up and go "So close!" or "What the hell?". I also miss sharing them with you. Some of these nightmares are getting so personal I'd prefer to write them down only on my calender.

So, does anyone know how to fix this? Or what could cause it?

      Thanks in advance, and

      Sweet dreams.

hmmmm, why not use mnemonics to induce the kind of dream you want? sort of plan out your dream in advance by writing it down or something.

Well, yes I've tried that. But it always comes out like this:

Roller coaster ride = Me falling off a loop on a roller coaster
Looking at the stars with my telescope = Some guy coming up and running me over while I'm looking at the stars.

So its rather hard to get the outcome I'd like. I've also tried my version of meditation. Trying to clear my mind of all the bad thoughts.

      Thanks for replying though.

      Sweet dreams.

another thought. if your not doing so already, try using your nightmares as a reality check. you're already getting semi-lucid, so you shouldn't have far to go. finally, if you become lucid, be confident. its your world, not this dark entity's
