    1. TV vs Full moon

      by , 08-13-2013 at 05:24 PM
This one started off with me and a couple friends in the woods. We had a TV with us, so we put it down, and then I started to wander off.

It was getting dark, and it was a full moon. I came across a tree with a hatchet halfway through it. I grabbed it and took it back to where the other people were. The moon had set by now, but the TV was so bright it didn't matter.

I said "The TV is brighter than a full moon. "

One or two laughed, then the TV got brighter and brighter. Then,

      I woke up.
    2. Lost it

I almost had something there, but then I lost it. I think it was something about a cabin.

    5. Wooho! Another lucid! [Lucid!]

      by , 08-09-2013 at 04:22 PM
Yerp, believe it or not, this is my third this week.

It started off with me in my driveway with my brother. We were looking through my telescope at stuff, and then I noticed that everything was glow-in-the-dark. Trees, him, lamps, all of it!

It was beautiful. All those colors swirling around.

Then I realized, this isn't normal! I did a quick series of reality checks and confirmed, yes, this was a dream. Luckily, it didn't freak out like the last one, it was pretty stable already.

I figured that these colors was enough for me, and instead of all your normal lucid dreaming shenanigans I just decided to enhance these colors. I imagined the colors being brighter and more swirling and beautiful than ever before, then blinked.

And BAM! My whole vision was covered with swirling red neon yellows greens... They were all dancing around each other in a flurry of light and color.
      It was great.
      But then,

      I woke up.

    6. Ups and downs [Lucid!]

      by , 08-08-2013 at 05:01 PM
Isn't it funny how after I had a lucid dream I had two nights without anything?

      Welp, now I had another.

      Oh, mind...

It started off with me in Africa with some cousins (We don't have any cousins in Africa, weirdness..). We were walking around a market and bought a watermelon then went on our way. I remember carrying two slices out of five. We came along a mud puddle and we jumped in it. For no reason.

      *Memory blindness*

We then came to an intersection. To the left was a slight hill leading back to the marketplace, the front and back were a dirt road. On the left there was a small forest that ended a couple yards ahead. The sky was mostly cloudy, with some patches gray. It was raining.
We met with some guy who was chubby, short, white, and had glasses. Everyone started talking to him except for me, my brother, and my younger cousin. He looked to be about 6 by the way.

I started thinking about this trip. And how the airline ride went. Then I realized; there was no airline trip. I thought I just might have forgotten it, but then I did thought about doing a RC. Then my aunt said "Oh no, I can breathe, its a dream! We're not real!"
I did and RC for myself, and I could breathe! I started thinking about all this stuff I wanted to do, and the task of the month and all.

My mind, kind of got overwhelmed. I could feel it too, that anxiety of wanting to do things. The sky started flashing different colors. I started to remember the DV podcast, then I remembered the "Making out with the ground" trick.
      Welp.
I layed down and started, uh, making out with the ground. I will admit, it took my mind off dreaming, I guess because you can't see anything, just dirt. Plus your preoccupied with thinking it'll work. The sky stopped flashing, and everyone looked like they didn't know a thing.

I figured I would go to France. No particular reason. I just haven't gone there before. I then tried to teleport but instead my mind brought up a map of the world. I punched France with my fist, and it took me too another map with a map of France. I popped Paris and it made me turn right. It all seemed like a really badly made video game, but it seemed to do the trick. I walked out, and I could see the Eiffel tower! I was a long ways away though, so I tried to teleport again.

But as we all know, for me, teleporting twice is a death sentence.

My eyes in real life quickly opened, then I realised what I'd done and tried to fall asleep again.

      ly it didn't work.
    7. Not much

    9. Doing lots of stuff [Lucid!]

      by , 08-05-2013 at 05:05 PM
So the dream starts out with me walking home. Some guy pulls up in a truck. He looked sort of shady and he was carrying a gun. I then started trying to wake myself up.

Then I realized, wait, I'm trying to wake myself up? I tried to imagine the guy turning into some sort of a gummy bear. It worked, but it was more like a pile of green mush.

At this point I'm really exited, I start to remember the task of the month. Which is teach a DC something you don't know how to do. My thoughts were, my mom was a DC, so I would teach her something. I flew over to her work, then realized it was night time. I closed my eyes and tried to imagine the world being light out. It worked! My mom was pulling up in her van.

I stopped her at the door and said "I'm going to get you a better job, you hate your job." This was true, she complains about her job a lot. She smiled and said OK. We both got in the car and she started driving. She passed her grandparents on the street, and said "I'm going to be a flutist ". So then the problem of finding out something for her to do was over. I don't know a clue about the flute.

As we were driving down (it seemed like a short time) she veered off into the woods. I started freaking out but she remained un-phased as we flew through trees.

      Yes. Through them.

I closed my eyes, for no apparent reason, then opened them just as quickly. We were in a new place! I had teleported! I then tried it again, only ending up at the same spot we were at 5 seconds ago. I tried it one more time, this time imagining a music place...

      And then I woke up.

      Damn it.

I guess I learned my lesson about how NOT to teleport.

      But hey! I did:
      Transform someone
      Fly
      Dilate time
      Go through things
      And teleport!

Oh, and fail at a task of the month.

      Seems pretty good to me.

    10. So close!

      by , 08-03-2013 at 06:05 PM
I was in some sort of computer room, when there was some reference to my email.

This seemed kind of strange to me, because we were looking at something different (can't remember it).

So thanks to OpheliaBlue for helping me with my DILDing, I did reality check. But the thing is, I woke up during that. My eyes were still closed but I was lying in bed. It felt like I was dreaming though, because It was still playing out in my mind. Sort of like a hallucination.

Long story short, I was so close!

No dreams tonight. I might have remembered some early on, but my mind drifted off of dreaming and onto watching "Dumb and Dumber"

    12. Rolling in a plane.

      by , 08-01-2013 at 04:50 PM
It started off with me in the middle of a plane with a bunch of other people.

It was a generic plane, nothing special about it. We landed at some place, but I stayed on for whatever reason. The only other guy left was a 18-ish year old, with brown hair, and, sort of fat.

We took off and started going to some other place when the flight attendant came out. Since there were only two people there was no need to be formal. She didn't use a microphone or anything. She asked us if we were OK with the pilot doing a couple rolls.

I said "Yeah! Sure! That would be awesome!" and the other guy must have said yes in some other way because she went up to the pilot and told him something. Since it was only two people I was lying down on the two seats to my right, and I pulled down the armrests to hold me in.

It was awesome, rolling around in there, after 4 or 5 rolls we stopped. Then

      I woke up.

    13. Loooong dream

      by , 07-31-2013 at 06:02 PM
So, this one is very long, and very fuzzy in my memory. So bear with me.

There's some dude with a glow stick on my front porch. My mom and me were in the kitchen. For some reason there were cupboards outside on the porch. The guy was looking through them. Eventually the guy left and we stood up.
      *Memory blindness*

My dad came in from work, and said "They're after me, for tax evasion". It sounds kind of nonsensical, but in the dream it was clear as day. We started running upstairs. Since this was a dream I was running slowly and my talking came out as whispers. I don't get why I don't do a reality check then! Agh!

Anyways, we ran upstairs and locked ourselfs in our rooms. For whatever reason I had my little cousin Heidi with me.
      *Memory blindness*
      Something about burning telescopes
      *Memory blindness*
      Reading Heidi a kiddie book
      *Memory blindness*
The next morning after all that, we got on a plane and headed for where ever. Suddenly the rest of my family was back (was this a new dream?).

I apparently was flying the plane, and I said "This is your Casey speaking (Casey's my name) thank you for flying who-cares airlines". It actually looked like a flight simulator, as I was in 3rd person.

Would that be classified as an OBE?

      *Memory blindness*
We wound up in a bar or something, drinking beer out of straws. I wasn't drinking, and a good thing too, I'm under aged.

I guess I forgot the rest. I'm really sorry for not remembering much. If I had any sense at all I would delete this, and say I couldn't remember it, but, meh.

Note: I had a half a pill of melatonin that night, so maybe that effected this?
    14. Getting a job, and a stripper?

      by , 07-30-2013 at 05:46 PM
The dream started with me trying to get a job. There were two places I liked. One place called "Suzuki diner" (reference below) and another place called "Big burgers & bucks". I don't get it either.

Anyways, I applied for the Suzuki place, and walked up and down the hill I live on. I'm not sure why, but it was a nice day so I guess I was just enjoying it. After doing that a couple times I walked back down to the place, expecting it to be done. I accidentally walked into the wrong place.

In that place there was a guy holding a guitar. He looked to be 30-ish, he had a beard... actually. Come to think of it, he looks like Steve again! Why do I dream of him so much? Anyways, he said "Oh great! Your here! Come, we're going to do a hand-eye coordination test." He led me to a paper with two thumb-shaped holes in it. I excused myself, because this was not the place I was going to.

Weirdly enough, I walked up my hill again instead of going to the place I meant to go.

And now, it starts getting weird.

I walk up and there's this 40-ish year old lady doing a stripper dance on a telephone pole. I started walking a little faster. She started to strip down her clothes and then I started to run. My house was only a couple blocks away, and I do NOT want to get involved with that.

Now since this was my dream, and I didn't want her to go near me, she started to drift off. Luckily I was far enough away when she finished stripping down. I got home, and I was about to tell my brother about what happened when,

      I woke up.

      Reference:
"Suzuki" Is a name for a violin book. I was interested in violin a year ago, and I recently went to a garage sale to look at one. So I guess I was thinking of that?

Or, its always an option that its just completely random.
    15. 12 dreams in 3 days?

      by , 07-29-2013 at 04:48 PM
      Hey y'all.

I took a break from DV for 3 days. And in those 3 days I had 12 dreams.

Now I'm not talking about those small, "tidbit" dreams, I'm talking about full-on hardcore, hour long, dreams. I had 12 of those in 3 days.

      What.

Even when taking a break from DV? I thought that would decrease dream recall... Could someone explain this to me?

On a side note, I didn't write them down, because I was taking a break and I would finish writing one and forget the rest.
