Recurring Dream about the same person

Ok well i wont bore you with the details but here lately i been having dreams about the same person. When i first started dreaming about this person the dreams where not so often and it was really hard to remember much about them but the person it was about. but lately the dreams are almost every night and i can remember everything and the last one i had was weird i know i was sleeping and dreaming. like its kinda hard to explain.. In the dream i was talk to her and blah blah but i knew i was about to wake up and i told her "i know this is just a dream but i don't wanna wake up i don't wanna leave you" and i started crying because i knew i was about to wake up. Obviously it's about a girl, my Ex fiance actually. I guess what i'm trying to figure out is about the whole "i knew i was dreaming" for some reason that was just really weird to me.
