I feel so afraid to sleep now..

Ever since Sunday night I have been plagued by the bizarrest of dreams
but the bizarrity of monday was tolerated, tuesday night it became even worse. to the point of crying, and I can't possibly begin to describe the dream, It took me an hour and a half to sleep even with 5-htp supplement. The reason I can't write it because it all appears so non-sequetor, for instance - tuesday night was a little thing. during THE DAY I kinda stole a measuring drink bottle (the sports kind) i wasn't meaning to steal it but the shop assistant basically said 'oh thats yours i guess' and I only payed for the lunch.
So whilst I payed the LEAST attention to this fact (I forgot it almost instantanously), I had a dream involving me being a kind of frustrated thief. Some reason, when I worked on a school assignment fairly and created a work of art, the next time I'm told by a teacher to retrieve it it dissapears! This was constantly happening, i don't even take art even, it got to the point I had to steal a basic item otherwise I will fail an unfinished course. And it just kept getting more bizarre, the dream was so extensive, after having woken up I can definately remember 3 hours of dreaming - but the final hour where I am discovered and terrorised to the point of being scalded by hot boiling water on my hands and beaten violently by my demon-masked mother near the end just frightens me - And this isn't one of those nightmares you can casually move on from, the nightmares have been consistent a6nd I've made sure to eat appropiately before I sleep. I had to produce a work of art involving the 'red' colour, it was infuriating having my progress disappear so quickly.

also in this dream was oddly incest, rape, fights and ugh I don't want to mention the list.

I don't get this level of nightmare on ZMA (which I took 4 off that night)
I might guess it has something to do with the Amanita Muscaria binge on the weekend (6 caps with cannabis on a sunday) which I've read has caused people to become violently deranged, while conciously I'm of sound health. It seems every anxiety and everything could go wrong all of a sudden in my dreams. Every tiny quirk is amplified by ten and I know I am individual who has levels of self-control, I can't physically sleep for ages for some odd reason. help.

Dude you have to tell yourself that your not going to be a victom to some scary dream ..Theres not much you can do to not have a nightmare. But face it yourself, and tell yourself that your better then that. Dont put up with. Maybe before you go to sleep tell yourself that you wont have a nightmare.

I guess you could turn this into a dream sign if you want. Every time something scary or even just a little bit frightening happens, check to see if you're dreaming.

Just remember that you are dreaming, every single thing that you're coming up with is created by your mind, and your mind does this so it can safely solve the problems your life faces you with and not drive you to insanity.

I look back at hindsight and now I know it was a fluke or at least a lesson

I just had an epic dream which felt like entirely 6 hours. It was bordering on the lines of pure insanity, in a good sense. It was fun, it had nightmarish elements but they were welcomed - It initially started with a quest to mexico when I put a crystal ball in some exotic drain pipe and followed it into a bathroom where I met two individuals who happened to be naked. Ever since then it got bizarre, travelling through magicians laborotories, labyrinth castles (which felt like something out of Alice in Wonderland - being told to press a button which caused a giant fart, escaping capture pretending to be a serveant boy etc) and going on a bus tour with Britney Spears and her crew (Posing as a flamboyant colour coordinator), they eventually died in some unforeseen event where one crew member suddenly turned into the enemy (who i was trying to defeat, something along the lines of a fuzzy sasquatch race). Ending up running down the countryside, ending in some giant wood where I met flying dutchmen (the where actually swimming in midair with orange and blue) who told me I was on the Boar Islands?
This was only a snippet, now I have school. I'm kind of welcoming this sudden dream switch which makes everything extremely vivid, maybe I will try in much smaller doses to maintain the supposed aftereffects of amanita (I suspect my neurotransmittors were bombarded with acetyl-choline and muscarine stimulation which has meant dormant parts of the brain are now in gear).
That night I had 3 ZMA tablets and one diphenhydramine hydrochloride.. Yes i know, diphenhydramine is destructive but its only a temporary fix from the insomnia I had 2 nights ago.

I just wish I could carry on epic dreams, I was in such a rush to get to mexico to see if I would learn something 'profound' or 'amazing'. Ah well, I'm grateful.

Wow, that has to be the most random dream ever. Hahaha.

But anyway, I used to have nightmares like that, of evil things attacking me or beating me. But the last time I had one of those. I had realized it was a dream. It was when I was in a mansion sort of, and the curtains were torn, There were candelights scattered about. And I knew it was going to get scary. I was terrified. Just then, a window crashed and shattered, and rotted corpses were entering through the window with various weapons, entering from the streets. Something clicked in my head where I went, You arent scary, go back home, Im not afraid of you. The zombie stopped, spoke some english words to me. and he left back out the window, along with all the hordes of monsters.

So I had a sober night (when I say sober, I didn't use any supplements to see if the effect was due to the fly agaric binge aftereffects) and still amazing results

It was quite interesting, firstly it was somewhere in my hometown but the hometown featured some woods, in these woods where some band of people interested in buying mushrooms from us (I swear I didn't think about it that night) and there was a christmas tree leading up a trail to their whereabouts. So what they did was put the money in the christmas tree, and then a runner of my band placed a sack on the ground - They walked off, I went to check underneath the sack, there was no shrooms we were suppose to give them. I remember getting angry because I wanted an honest trade but at the same time I told them it was still there, so I had to run as fast as I can (I somehow ended up running at sonic the hedgehog speed) down this entrail jumping up logs and running up walls and what have you.) Well we got chased but it wasn't exactly successful for their sakes, as I was I running a car pulled up and offered a lift.
The car happened to be someone who remarkably looks like meatloaf (although not), we then drove to some fair and went on a tilt-a-whirl, that was kinda cool. As we were travelling I told him about I didn't like the fact that my friends cheated the guys out of the deal, he admitted he wanted to be my friend and would pay me? Also leaving me an inheritance of a generous sum if he were to die.
Well anyway, we walked and ended up in some house, the house was full of zombies (and consequently meatloaf-impersonator was swiftly killed) I was left to fend by myself, with the occasional help of an annonymous character who kept leaving me blue envelopes to open and read for clues (when I was stuck in a puzzle or room). I used an assortmet of bizarre weapons to attack zombies, I even shot a zombie twice in the eyes with some some very small piston device. There was shadows attacking me on the floor which was a little odd but it was ok, occasionally there would be one or two people suddenly helping me out if I was taking too long on one area to get to the next. It was actually kinda cool, to evade capture I might for instance run to the bathroom, and knowing someone is about to come in jump through the side window of the bathroom and end up somewhere else (kinda cool stealthy element). I then was given a blue envelope with the clue to get into the vents, so I went for the vents and ended up in some weird secret rooms, in these secret rooms which looked quite victorian where things like a kitchen and a bar and a lounge. I then picked up a mobile phone device which was giving me directions in some weird english-russian dialect, it was kind of a detecting device. I had to traverse the bar with odd victorian ghostly types, the mobile was going haywire and going 'you have been spotted!' but I casually ignored this, then I was led to a tv panel of some kind. I found a blue envelope telling me I had to press the right buttons if I wanted to be free from this house. Strangely, I was shown a clip of russian carol singers, and I had to use a PS2 controller's R1 R2 L1 L2 buttons and press them in some order (each button corresponds to a certain 'sound' of the singers). I then did this and walked out, quite happy. I found it kind of like a SAW/Silent Hill mix, I was suprisingly doing things in a very logical order.

Probably this dream had to be my anxiety of other people, of not trusting them and maybe choosing the right kind of friends - as I was feeling pretty crummy at school because of a betrayal.

I seriously believe fly agaric has long aftereffects, rarely do I get this surreal/vivid/recall so easily and consistently. I know that fly agaric is a cholinergenic, in strong doses, it might activate otherwise dormant parts of the brain. I will keep you updated, it may whereoff by the end of this weekend or it may not.

Wow, your dreams are very interesting/weird. I hope you don't have any more nighmares. (Maybe you should return the bottle that you stole to clear your conscience.) I have never really had any nightmares (well some of my dreams others would consider nightmares, but I like them) so I can't really tell you how to get rid of them.
