Ok... Here's my recurring dream. There are a few variables but it's almost always the same.

I am engaged in a gun fight with another man. I don't know the man, nor can I remember anything about him, and the setting contains nothing but darkness. My gun doesn't function properly, the bullets just seem to "fall" out of the barrel. While this is happening, I am, fearing for my life, attempting to dodge the unknown man's weapons fire. After several fearful misfires, my gun finally fires and hits the man, but does not seem to stop him. I always awake just before the man is able to fire the fatal shot.

I really hope that someone can help me with this dream. It has bothered me for some time and always seems to be like more of a nightmare.
