reoccuring 'nightmare'...

ok i wrote this before and then it deleted so sorry if im not as thorough as i was before (even though i usually give TOO much info anyway... lol)... so yesterday i had a semi-nightmare. yesterday my schedule was as follows: school, gave a pint of blood, felt fine as i went home, took a 3 hour nap, went to work (VERY VERY BUSY, soo tired at the end of it), went to bed at around 2:00am, then this morning i woke up at 6:00 from my dream and got out of bed by 6:30... so the min-nightmare was this: i was in my church, starting off happy and nonchalant, loooking for sometihng for my dad for mass. apparently (as much as i can remember) it was some sort of box (like a rose box?) with something inside of it that we needed for mass (my dad is a deacon in the roman cahtolic church) i dont know what it was but i was looking for it in a place that isnt really there in church (next to the lectionary) but i think that i found it and i was happy and then all of a sudden i was with my dad and he had a very different sort of box: old, decrepit, ancient, yet very solid and hard. i knew that something was inside and i got a little afraid of it (dimensions of the box was maybe 10 inches by 2 1/2 feet). he became very serious and a little scary and he said 'hold it while i get your sister. you and your brother have done this already now its time for you and your sister'. he was referring to looking in and confronting what was inside of the box. he left and i was alone holding the box and i started to get more frightened of it. then i became semi-lucid and remembered what was inside of the box because i knew that i had another dream about this a while ago where me and my brother were in the same situation (both my bro and sis are younger than me) and my dad opened the box and we saw and talked to what was inside fo the box. he looked sometihng like this: [img src="http://www.digitaljunkyard.co.uk/FlashMovies/movies/achmed%20dead%20terrorist.bmp"] achmed the dead terrorist... it did not look exactly like him in the dream but it kinda looked like an old small man (white or middle eastern i dont know) but like the skeleton of that man, very dirty and very old and yet very hard and solid looking. also very scary just because he seemed very demanding... like he didnt have eyes rolling in the back of his head or like extra brains or whatever, not 'horrormovie scary'... more like comandeering and demanding scary like you HAVE to obey me or else I KILLLL YOUUU anyway i rememebred what was in the box and i was going to open it by dropping it on the floor when my dad came back and took the box out of my hands. my sister was there and then my dad (or maybe it was my sister) opened up the box and my eyes were drawn into his. i had one last thought of OMG IM SO SCARED and i woke up. from what i can rememebr of my FIRST dream (if that one actually happened, which i THINK it did but im not sure) and in this dream last night both my brother and sister werent as scared as i was, they were more serious and solemn like my dad. i was just frightened again after i realized what was in the box. i think the body might have said something too but i really dont remember... i thikn i was saying 'NO NO' or somethin gliek that, I DONT KNOW dont rememebr sorry this dream has been bothering me all day and im so like freaked out as to what it coudl mean? before youre wondering, my dad hasnt forced me to do anything recently or anything.. i mean im a senior in hgih school and i have to picka college in like a week but i dont think thats it cause this same dream that i remember having before was not recent, not a time where i would have been worrying about college. so like, i dont know.... PLEASE HELP!

Hello, I don't normal take a stab at other peoples dreams because they can mean lots of things, but it only matters what it means to you lol. Anyways it could mean that your dad is trying to help you face your fears, or you are trying to face your fears and that is what the dream is about. Also on the subject of the other dream just like that one; it could be that with in the dream you were having a dream memory. I use this term meaning in your dreams you can have memories pop up of things that may or may not have happened in other dreams, or just a memory of your DC life that you are playing out now. I have had these dream memories a lot. I have also had a memeory of another dream while in a dream. But as I said before any one can tell you what they think your dream means, but only you can say if that is true or not. Try to think about what is going on in your life right now. Your emotions, fears, stress and such and then think back on the dream and see if any of that aplys. Hope this helps a little bit. Anna

well i think it could be picking a college, which i did but at the time i was very stressed over it. however, i had this dream before and it definately wasnt about picking a college. i forget exactly when i had the dream before so i ant tell you anytihng about that... could it just have been another possible decision thing again that just remanifested itself as a 'college decision' dream?>
