the Chatroom

I have an unusual dream theory that was brought to my attention by an online friend. It is basically that some people (usually teens) with powers are connected via brain waves to a dreamplace called the Chatroom. The Chatroom is run by an entity/man (not too sure, but I lean toward entity) called the Maniac. A lot more explanation is available at a site I run at www.avidgamers.com/chatroom. So you go the forum if you've seen that guy in your dream? or you have to have been to that place....

What would this place look like?

It's complicated, but generally a sign of the chatroom is if you have had a dream (vivid/lucid) where you are in a room with some teens sitting around on armchairs. Basically. These dreams usually occur around 12-13, and are followed by an ESP experience. Most people don't usually see the maniac unless they're in trouble

I'm 99.99% positive it's real. I had a dream similar to the general one and had a manifestation of power afterward. I'm not too sure about the point of the place, but I'm aggreeing with an online friend for now: the Maniac made the chatroom as a way to control people with power. If you use your power in the way he wants you to, you're fine. But if you err, watch it. I erred and he tried to kill me on several occasions. One of the rules that my friend broke was using control (mind control over people) on the opposite sex. She was then punished (I think by being kicked out, or by being confined to a room made of mirrors during her dreams; not too sure about this) I was rebellious from the start, and so he tried to kill me. I'm not really sure. If you go read the OZ dream reference, you'll understand a bit. I got to the outskirts, which I obviously wasn't supposed to do. He made it rain acid that looked like blood, and I almost died, but I woke up in time. The second time he didn't really try anything, but it was more of a sense that he was out to get me. I got away just in time so he didn't see me.

why would you want to go somewhere like that then??

from your oz story, it doesn't look as if you had anything more than a vivid dream like many of us. perhaps you should look at what you dream about as a reflection of your life - after all thats what your sub-conscious is.

anyone can meet anywhere at any time. there is no need for one person to 'control' anyone else.

sorry if i sound a little disbelieving. i reckon that your mind is able to create all kinds of things without reading into 'theories' which suggest they're controlled by someone else.

You can believe what you want, but I know that this place is real. I probably shouldn't have posted this here...BTW, the OZ dream wasn't lucid, and afterwards I could do things, ESP-ish things. So there.

I never said it wasnt real, I gave you two options. If its real then it should be rid of, upsets the balance, the astral doesn't like people like that. I was being silly I always am, really I've seen alot and I'm not saying this could not happen, but just if it does, then I'm against it anyway. And if doesn't, well then paperdoll is right, I dont have any opnion over this, I tend not to say to somebody hes/shes lying..anyhing is possible over there..but I don't take anything for granted either

justg cuz some guy has a chatroom on a website somewhere he controlls that part of the astral plane, wtf is that about, weird fake shit. you just had thadt dream because you knew about it so your subconcious spawned a dream about it because you where thkinking of it.

you should have more faith in your own abilities/imagination etc and not rely on someone else to provide a 'service'. especially not someone that is into control.

control can be very destructive.

There's no evidence this place really exsists, apart from first hand-accounts, but then again, there's no evidence that this place dosen't exsist.

Although, I find it hard to believe myself that this place does exsist, I'm not going to say it isn't there either. Because I don't know.

Come on now people...I mean be a little more nice to the guy. Im not saying I believe him, or that if it real that I think its a good thing. But what do we care if he lied, he says he received ESP abilities fine, why the hell not, what do we care if he lied? If that makes him feel good, or maybe hes even telling the truth who knows. Never say no to anything, all is possible. Even that, I don't see the use of lying about it, maybe he did experience what he says, and it was a random event I dont know, but lets not make fun of him and call him retarded. ^_^

It's a figment of your imagination. Forget about it and you'll be fine. This is one of the few things that occur when you start to play mind games (ie lucid dreaming). Others will take advantage of the people with weaker minds.
