OK, so over the last month or so I've been doing a lot of soul searching (and listening to Manic Street Preachers for some reason). You may be able to work out why (although I seriously doubt anyone can be bothered, hell, even I'm not that fussed), if so, good for you. But yeah, through a process of deep soul searching (not much else to do at work on a quiet night) and meditation, several things have litterally just 'hit' me as being obvious about life. So much so, I thought I'd write them down so I'd have like a proper philosophy to follow. Basically, I'll add to it here, and accept any input, ideas, criticism etc, but please, keep it sensible!
Here goes...a trip in the deepest, darkest reaches of my mind...
First off, life is whats out there, you may not like it, but thats tough. Get out and live it.
Never not do something for fear of failing - at least you can say you tried.
When given a choice about how to do something, always go for the more hardcore option. If you succeed it adds do your reputation, if you fail at least you were prepared to go for the hardcore option.
Fear is healthy. It shows you place value upon yourself. Take the fear and motive yourself through adrenaline.
Adrenaline is the best drug known to man, and you cannot have too much. When having an adrenaline rush, that thrill is the purest high possible, and shows you are alive and fighting.
Keep a good standard of fitness and health, thereby you can always depend on yourself for anything physical. Also, always maintain the capability (and skills) to **** anyone over who kicks off on you.
Penguin biscuits should be revered as sacred.
Try to make at least one person every day feel better for having seen you.
Always look at the best in everyone and every situation.
There are to types of person - possitive and negative. The difference being negative people make you feel down, moan, and are generally not nice to be around. Positive people are happy, energetic etc, and this rubs off. Be a positive person.
Reputation is important, so build a good one. Start by doing things to prove to yourself why you should believe in yourself, then to prove to others. They will then believe in you, so you should too.
Always do what YOU think is right. You're the only person in this world you have to answer to.
Life can be a bitch, deal with it.
If it doesn't feel right, it isn't.
The 'Sex, Drugs and Rock'N'Roll' attitude towards life is pretty much spot on, minus the drugs part of course
So yeah, any input?
