      Universe being fine-tuned? Not really.

      Something that has always annoyed me is people saying that the universe is so finely tuned for life, it can't be a coincidence - or it's just horrendously unlikely. But that is backwards. It's not like the universe was finely tuned for life. Life was finely tuned for the universe. You may say things about universal constants having to be exact to actually make the universe, but if they weren't exact, who would ever know?

      Sorry if this has been brought up before, but it just annoys me.
