I wish I could tell you some information but astral is not one of my specialties. Just wanted to say you might not be crazy

Yes, this was my intent here, assurance. I usually like to take an informational approach to things, but I've known too many claroyants and astral sensitives to be ignorant of an interesting commonality between all of them: they get scared crapless at the occurance of many of the things they perceive. Virtually every single one, that I've talked to, went through a period where they wondered if they were becoming mentally ill.

I sensed something in Wolf's plee that he was looking for more for assurance, not necessarily information on what happened.

Wolf, what you are seeing/sensing is actually much more common that you might think.

I might compare the plight of today's astral clarvoyants to the plight of homosexuals a few decades ago. When a man (or woman) found themselves having impulses that society did not understand, they felt like they were somehow unique, completely alone, different. Turns out, about 2% of the population has homosexual orientation.

The astral clarvoyants will discover that there are tens, perhaps hundreds of thousands who have the ability, but because its not understood culturally, they will continue to feel alone and different. Time will pass and they will, after a time, find that its not so uncommon, not so "freaky", and actually a blessing and not a curse.

Sounds like our good friend James Randi will soon be broke and destitute.

Inthemoment he can keep his million dollars, because by the time anyone works up to that stage, they realize that having to prove yourself or prove it to others is irrelevant and not even wise use of power. You will never see any spiritual leader worth his salt taking this silly test. Not even for a million. That is not even an incentive compared to the consequences.

They just need to get real and find out for themself. No-one will hand it to them on a platter. Money does not buy these things.

if i had to wager, i'd guess you never verified this simple, easy experiment yourself leo. simply took someone's word for it.

so what does that make you?

or i could be wrong, and you might have verified it. but in that case, what is the difference between you experientially checking the credibility of something you read, and the poster experientially checking the credibility of something he heard?

few people manage to irritate me leo, but you are almost capable. i would rather have the world inhabited by easy-going, curious souls, open to fledgling possibilities, than a bunch of bitter, lifeless cynics like you, who tear a strip off of somebody who welcomes imput (and just thanked you for it )

if you want to talk biology and scientific method, hear this.

according to all evidence, you are merely a conglomeration of elements, chemical reactions, and biological processes. you will eat, shit, f*ck (?), and die. you are nothing more than a cognitive, intellectual animal, and the world is not "better off" for you existing. you matter only insofar as you are matter.

the only worth you possess is the worth given to you by others, and you are a worthless, walking corpse who bitterly rips into others because deep down you loathe your pathetic existence.

even if you are right on many things (as you may very well be), you are too ignorant of basic human psychology to realize nobody will care if you are right or wrong when you spit out your 'facts' through your teeth, saturated with arrogance and childish maliciousness.
most people will look at you and say "if that's the sort of person that results from believing all that he believes, i would rather find out things on my own and still have meaningful human interaction".

the difference between you and i is that i can truly laugh after saying that, and bear no grudge, while you come across as the 2-dimensional mockery of human spirit pictured in your avatar.

i hope you are at least 40 years of age, or i would have to resist pitying you for already being as good as dead to the rest of the world (fellow walking corpses excluded of course-misery loves company).

luckily i don't pity you. pity is only something felt by those who assume they know more than everyone else. it inevitably turns into hate.

I encourage you to keep trying these kind of experiments with the mind, as I'm sure they're pretty interesting(and down right cool), and go ahead and explore alternative explanations for the phenomena. Just be careful to realize it when explanations have emotional appeal to you that make you want to believe them, and look at them critically. Chances are they will be much less valid than scientific explanations, and ultimately won't be quite so interesting as some of the other explanations you can come up with.

Seeking out strange expereinces is a great thing, finding alternative explanations for them is a great thing. Even when they're wrong, they exercise the mind, and every once in a while they're right.

Did you try putting panty hose on your head? It might have also helped me to be 8-9 years old, but that is hard to pull off once you get older. Perhaps I had inhaled some of my parents' second hand drug smoke?
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?
