What is Prayer?

Talking to a Spiritual power

How did it come into existence and why?

It came into existance to alow man to talk to the Higher Power

What do you use prayer for?

To talk to my Creator

Dose praying to different Gods produce different ends?

I really wouldn't know, but some powers can do things others cant, so possably

Dose praying appease the alter ego?

I dont quit get that one ...

What are the social repercussions of prayer?

Some will love you, others will hate you

What is the province of prayer?

Again, I do not understand

How dose mysticism, ecstasy, and inspiration have to do with prayer?

They are also ways of contacting the Higher Powers

What is the personal experience in prayer?

Talking to God (or other Powers)

So now your implying that there are different powers. That do diferant things?
Why do we need a creator if every one has "different" powers?

Because He knows everything about you anyhow, so all you really are doing is addressing your thoughts and hopes to Him. I dont think any other Being can read your mind (unless you are talking outloud )

Any congregation may for any reason elect a person or persons to lead ana their prayers go to him as he is leading them. Thats my theory.
