What religion / philosophy do you follow?

I'm wondering what religion / philosophy is most common here, I know eastern philsophies deal more with dreaming and other realms. No religious discussion, just one or two word answers.

The 6th answer is supposed to be Hindu.

I hope every atheist is agnostic. I know it's not true, but it's what seperates "us" from the "blind faith" people.

I voted Christian, but I have to say "other" too. If there were multiple choices, they would have been, (in order)

      Christian
      Objectivist
      Buddhist

Folk who know the details of these religions and philosophies might think they are incompatible. In their pure form, that might be so. I freely corrupt the second two, taking what I need and leaving the rest.

It's not that atheists think they can prove that god doesn't exist - they can't. It's just that atheists have faith in god not existing, whereas we don't, and we're ok with it just being "unknowable".

I am from the cult of 'athiest', not to be confused with 'atheist'. We 'athiests' rape woman and have no morals, and everywhere we go we cause chaos.

Oh, your the unpatriotic douchebags that destroy this very earth? I really dont get what christians have against atheists. in their eyes atheists shouldnt appear as evil as the rest of us, who worship other gods. though i always see "christianity Vs. atheism" and "the war on atheism" and all that. what does atheism have to do with christianity anyway? if atheism opposes christianity, then it opposes all the other belief systems just as much. why would christians just go out and attack them like that? Im not saying all christians do, just such a large amount of them have.

To be a good person is my religion.

I tend to agree with awakened mind but I like the way I phrased it better

      Talking Christian

I believe in the Holy Trinity, Heaven, Hell. I believe in Jesus and this story:

"...The human race was fostered by a soul who had completed his experience of creation, attained Christhood, returned to God, and became a companion to God and a co-creator. This is the soul known as Jesus. The first evolutionary transformation of ape-men to homo sapiens is who the Bible refers to as "Adam". This was the beginning of the divine consciousness into flesh on the earth. The soul known as Jesus, was one of the first souls to enter into one of the Adamic races.

The soul of Jesus was interested in the plight of its fellow souls trapped in earth. After supervising the influx of souls into flesh, the Christ soul took form itself, from time to time, to act as a leader for the people..."

And what was Jesus main message? "Love, Karma, Self-Control and Spirtual Knowledge"

I am not a Christian who just puts faith in something unseen... I have followed a path that led me to believe that those four things mention above were what he wanted us to believe. This is something kept secret from humanity for so long because of the dogmatics of the churches that almost no one see's it.

Blind Faith? No Spritual Knowledge is the key to Salvation... Part of that Spirtual knowledge exsist in your own being called the Subconcious which you experience everytime you goto sleep in your dreams. God speaks to you in your dreams. The problem is no one believes it because, when we associate God or Christ speaking to us we associate with a granduer and this big thing. Jesus said it himself that he is a humble guy yet the son of man so he has a part of you and you a part of him that speaks with you every night in your dreams.

Like I said in another post: "The Father does not Judge his son on who he is because, the father is part of the son. However, there two individuals and the father Judges you on what you do. If you mess up and are truly sorry for what wrong you have done than the father can forgive you. It does not matter what you have what matters is what you do with what you have. We are only free when we are free from our possesions and selfishness... "

      I voted Agnostic.

I grew up Catholic, but I have decided that I am not a Christian.

I don't agree with any religion really. Theravada Buddhism interests me, though.

I would say that I'm pretty much an Agnostic Atheist, but I like alot of the ideas behind Hinduism. That's the religion that most closely reflects the religious ideas that I entertain.
