I have said many times "I wish to sell my soul to the devil for [x]". Nothing ever happened. I was content then, and I am content now. I suspect you're making this more than it is, because your subconscious made the connection.

where the things you wanted attainable? selling my soul for a better life was attainable and was attained. the things dont happen instantly. i see it as it creates oportunitys for your goal, or allows you to see the opportunitys to your goal. so if your goal was to attain fabulous wealth.. you would see the buisness oportunitys and you would see the promotion oportunitys.
its the fact that the oportunitys are not always the most moral or just things you can do to get what you want.

It was obtainable and YOU obtained it. Don't assume no responsibility for having a better life. Odds are you opened yourself to the possibilities all around you. I seriously doubt any evil being holds the mortgage on your soul.

What you're describing is life. It's not anything mystical or soul-indebting. When you are open to opportunity you tend to notice that they're all around us. When you muster the courage to seize those opportunities then you reap their benefits. It really is as simply as that. You're trying to make way too much negative out of a positive thing.

Accept that good things can and do happen and continue to look for the best in life.

Well I think you got ripped off because your Reticular Activating System could have scouted those things for you.

      Rofl, thats ^^^ funny hahaha.

As for selling your soul, when i was younger i watched (and i still own ) the animated version of "Tekken" the fighting game. In that the main character (which i have slipped the name >.<) sells his soul to gain power. After seeing this i tried to "sell my soul" for many things, you know normal kid things such as gameboy games or 10 bucks for the movies, or even that girl down the street to talk to me. But anywho thats off topic, nothing ever happend, i never gained anything from them, and i think its just a thing that people say to do. But im still a believer, as many people probly have "sold there soul". I'm just glad i didnt really sell mine for the gameboy games

I'm an atheist and I tried to sell my soul several times, out of spite for religion, actually. Seriously. Nothing happened, as expected.

Think of it this way: when's the last time the Devil kept his word? You traded your soul and he gave you a better life? That doesn't add up and kind of proves that your soul is safely wrapped away in the cellophane it came in. Fear not, my friend. The Devil doesn't make deals, he breaks them.

I agree, once he had your soul, he could do whatever he likes, it wouldn't matter if he made your life better or worse to him, since once your soul is in his possesion he could lock it up there like his little Biotch.

its just the way i interpreted my past and it added up to the day i sold my soul. im sure other things contributed. ive known for a while now that if you do lose your soul it is purely psychological.

Haha I remember that. My 5 year old friend loves that show, and i have to watch it everyday haha. Dang movies and TV shows, they always gotta get your hopes up.

I would have to agree though, if someone did sell there soul to the devil or anyone else for that matter, it REALLY wouldn't matter what they get in return, because that person owns them now.

Haha, another Movie that deals with this, Hercules, hahaha Meg sells her soul to Hades to get her bf's life back, then he runs away from her for some other girl, and Meg is trapped with Hades.

If we can sell our souls, I would think (unless we sold it to some "Good" person..) that it wouldnt matter what we get in return, because we would get all the bad stuff in the world for it.

I think the author of this topic means makintg deals with satan or demons.
Satan can kiss my ass. And all that praise him too. What fool sells his/her soul? It's literally all you have.

Someone's been reading to much Doctor Faust Read something enlightening instead.

Maybe the devil doesn't bother to pay for souls that he already knows he's going to get.

I'm far from serious here. Who wrote this topic? Reading too much dark literature, such as Faust, can drive alot of people literally insane.

I bet my soul in a battle with the devil and all I got was a lousy golden fiddle.

There was a Coast to Coast AM where they talked about this. There was this one guy who actually sold his soul on eBay. He breathed into a container and then shipped that to the high bidder. It went for over $200 I think. There were others who called in who said that they had said or thought that they would sell their soul for a better life and then right after that good things started happening to them. They also talked about that you don't have to sign a contract in blood to make a deal. I'm not sure if its real or not but I'm not risking it.

I'll stop thinking about that while I stop thinking of a pink elephant.

Anyway you better hope its not real because all you got was a cheap box of candy. You're just jealous because I got a violin and got to keep my soul.
