Did I go overboard? |

To be happy
For something greater (God, to get to heaven)
Did I go overboard? |

the purpose of life... is to HAVE some kind of purpose in it |
My opinion on the purpose of life is so contradictory I don't even know where to start. What I can say is neither of those two options come close. |
Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.
The purpose of life is to make of it whatever you please. So, neither of those two options. |
Why do you question the purpose? In that lies the answer for me . |
There is no inherent purpose other than to continue the tradition of life. The true purpose for your life is what you make of it. So make that purpose meaningful. |
Which raises the question... What is the purpose of meaning? |
Perhaps the idea of purpose is a human concept that does not translate very well to the n-th level? |
I think I see that. you might desire (please) something, but at the same time realize that it will hurt you more in the end than make you happy. I want to drink a lot of coca-cola, that's what I'd please, but I'm not going to because I know it won't really make me happy. (it will rot my teeth). |

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.
