Googled the user names used on that board, found the posts here discussing them. But, aye, this whole deal is hardly mature. Pretty much the equivalent of speaking about others behind their backs. Even if it weren't juvenile (and not to mention could get DV into trouble with ISP), do you guys really want regulars on those forums posting here? Not that it's not entertaining reading, just I've seen some of these invasions before, and it never turns out well for anyone. ...that said, some of those threads are really funny.

If this site were being used as a platform to launch DoS attacks, or other illegal things, then the site can get in trouble with the ISP. Otherwise there is no reason. Linking to other sites and posting on forums is not grounds to shut down a site. EDIT: and the responses I quickly read on the LD thread were amusing. These people seem incapable of making a decision for themselves! The ignorance of some of the comments (I believe Jesus/God/My Flying Spaghetti Monster appears in my dreams) is as you'd expect. Even though you actually would get more out of your dreams if this were true by practicing LDing, and that if an omnipotent being exists, I somehow doubt it'd be hard for him to control someone's dream.

So what, they have like 10 people spamming their board, we have to deal with them plus 50 others. It's the internet and theres no rule against pretending to be something you're not and making people angry because you question their beliefs. If ones beliefs are strong enough then they will simply not care and ignore it because they know that they are right, but getting angry shows that there is some doubt. I'm not sure of the whole situation but if people are breaking the rules there then the banhammer should be used there. I don't care if people act like idiots on this forum because everyone knows who they are and know that they "surph teh intrawebs for teh lulzzz" so we ignore them so idk why that forum can't just ban people they don't like (what's their police officer doing?). It seems like they took it as we are planning a conspiracy against them but I don't like to be threatened that we'll be shut down and that they have a cop or whatever.

That is cocakmaimy bullshit invented by the pansy Administrators who can't deal with people wanting to converse in a manner that involves reading incredibly entertaining, and idiotic posts from stupid theists. They should get in trouble for pretending to be able to take action they cannot justify. For all they know, we could be speaking code and we mean to come discuss stuff with them. I wouldn't even consider it an invasion, its no different than saying for guitar players to link to guitar threads so they can go discuss them there. Except guitar forums are vicious and if you post you have to know what you're doing so you don't get eaten alive.

They aren't holy texts, they are just books. An Atheist can choose whether to see things through those books or not, and still be an atheist. That is religion's downfall.
