Someone on there equated people pretending to be Christians on the forum to people running into a church and smashing things during a peaceful sermon.

Now, really. If we're going to use that example, people posing as Christians on the forum would be the same thing as people going to church, posing as Christians, and peacefully listening to the sermon.

YEESH!

Get a grip, certain people.

Anyway Seis, I think we should have our amusement a little bit more quietly than this. I don't see any good coming out of making this escapade quite so public.

Because some people will never be convinced of the sheer harmlessness of this situation, and they might take action against us. Where is the fun in that. If we want this to last longer than a day, we need to take precautions.

I think new initiates to the syndicate should be tested, to see if they are truly trustworthy. Perhaps, asking them to denounce God in bold font?

I don't see any limit to what those people are going to make up, so I don't plan on seeing any of them being too stumped to have something to say. Somebody on there actually said that criminals are supposed to be stoned to death but secular governments don't recognize God's word. Somebody else said the universe was created "mature" and that is why scientists think it is so old. Another person said Jesus caused miracles and "therefore" is God. The person used that point to argue that the Bible is the word of God. Somebody said that proof that the Bible is the word of God is written in our hearts. I don't think I even want to attempt to debate those people. They believe in magic on a level I have never seen in the R/S forum here.

Hello Ken,

If you making an accusation that something illegal has happened on our forums you will need to give a more percise explination of the illegal acts and the *specific code of law which you believe to have been broken*. Otherwise please don't make threats about having a police officer working for you message board.

I haven't reviewed the full thread, but I suspect that what you are really asking for is more *civility* on the part of registered users coming from the DreamViews forum. If this is what you want then I suggest you make that case directly, either to me or by posting to the thread itself.

I will be posting this conversation to the thread you linked.

We have a screenshot of this and I am asking that the Admin here put a stop to this. It is illegal to allow your board to be used for this purpose and should your members not cease this nonsense then we'll be forced to contact VBulletin as this is a clear violation of their Terms of Service and use of their software.

I don't mean to come across as a jerk but these guys are making a mess of the boards over here and it's getting old now. We try and tolerate this stuff to a point in hopes that folks will get bored and just stop after realizing it is mostly futile. But there are some that don't seem to bore easy. Since it was orchestrated on your message board... I ask that you guys take an official stand on this.

Also understand that we have a police officer that works for our Message Board and this can be enforced and we've had to do that a time or two which resulted in the boards being closed down by those in authority. So please spare us that mess if you would and we appreciate it.

I understand that there will likely be some that won't listen to you and that happens. But a stern word from the Board Admin/Owner generally stops the bulk of folks acting silly. That would be fine and we'd count it done on your end and that's all that we can ask of you.

You should've proofread that at least once.
The typos/misspellings will just strengthen their inflated ego. >.<
