Well it would be pointless because if there is nothing that happens after we die then all we do is for nothing. As to God's life it doesn't end so there would be no need for another God

see thats the point. our actions in this life are there to decide what happens after we die. Heaven or Hell.

Life has no universal meaning so yes, I for one believe that are lives are pointless. I also believe that meaning is something that the individual defines for oneself. His or her driving force comes from one's own desires. No one group can say this or this is the meaning of life, because they'd be wrong.

so let's say i have an interest in killing people or raping women, and that contradicted with the universal point of life wouldn't it be a good thing for it to help me stray and break away from my own interests?

There is no universal point of life.
The majority says what s and what is not moral (good/bad).

If the majority says killing people and rape is OK then it is.

So you and i are no different than a mushroom? As to all the other creatures, they don't have souls, which u've already stated don't exist. Our souls are what continues on after our death

And how do you know they "have no soul". That makes no sense. If these "souls" did exist-- Then why not all living things have one?

That said, life has no concrete meaning.

Ok then lets change fungi to Chimps. As to why other things don't have souls there is no answer to that question that i or any other human could give other than that is the way god made it(which btw sucks as an answer)

2. what i see as meaningful doesnt have to be what others see as meaningful. If its universal you can still choose not to acknowledge that it exists, but by doing so wouldnt change its universality. Building off my other example, you can choose not to believe that 1+1=2 but that doesnt change that it does now and it always will

You can't prove that humans have souls. What makes us different is our biochemistry and our brain's abilities.

Actually if we decided to, we could change the system and make 1+1=3 and 1+3=2. But that would be such a hassle.
