Wait a second. Are you implying that people follow Quaker like a religion? I thought they just made my oatmeal. |

I would like to take a break from going to my usual Episcopal church and check out some Quaker meetings. I plan to do this either within the next few weeks or when I start college in the fall...so, can anyone give me a heads up on what Quaker meetings are like? |

They follow the Religion of Oatmeal of course. |

I know a large community of quakers and not one of them seems to take their religion seriously, basically none of them believe in god and they all just go to meeting to socialise and organise orgies. |

You serious? Quakers definitely believe in God. Maybe they don't all take it seriously (you'll find people who don't take it seriously in all religions and denominations of religions I think) but the core ideology of the Society of Friends (that's the proper name isn't it?) is to believe in God and find your inward Christ. |
