      *facepalm*

Let me put it this way:

Isaac Newton described universal gravitation. He also made a lot of research on alchemy, biblical studies (he predicted the apocalypse to be in 2060) and other pseudo-sciences.

According to your awesome logic, since Newton was correct about gravitation, that means all his occult studies are correct too.
      - Are you an idiot?
      - No sir, I'm a dreamer.

newton has nothing to do with the christian religion and hell, you said he made bible predictions, he didn't prove anything, way to go off course

we're talking about the possibility of there being a hell or not, not about someone's predictions

I've been to the Bible Belt, I think. How far is it from where I live?

Yes, if Christianity is right, then God exists. I guess we can't argue with that.
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?

you're in the bible belt to i think lol basically the middle of the US and like a few of us southern states make up the bible belt, i'm not too sure, i looked it up on wikipedia it says:

Tweedie (1978) defines the Bible Belt in terms of the audience for religious television. He finds two belts, one more eastern that stretches from central Florida through Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, North and South Carolina, and into Virginia, and another that is more western, moving from central Texas to the Dakotas, but concentrated in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Mississippi. Notably absent from this belt, however, is the area of Saint Louis, Missouri (which is heavily secular[citation needed]), South Texas, New Orleans, Louisiana, and the Cajun Country Region in Louisiana, where Catholicism is predominant.

i find it funny how the states that supported slavery so much are probably now days stereotyped as the most religious

every state that supported slavery is in the bible belt, it seems odd

Because religion was used to justify slavery. Simple...

all slavery was was rich people thinking of anyone that's not in the same social ranking as them as sub human and they thought they were better than them, no where in the christian religion does anything say "slavery is right"

It's in your Bible though, so it is justified by Christianity. In fact, it is quite prevalent.

      Also, this

Gen.24:35-36 And the LORD hath blessed my master [Abraham] greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses. And Sarah my master's wife bare a son to my master when she was old: and unto him hath he given all that he hath.

1 Tim.6:1-5 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their masters worthy of all honor, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed. And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort. If any man teach otherwise ... he is proud, knowing nothing.... From such withdraw thyself.

Having slaves was just fine with God apparently. He even sent them himself to Abraham.

also if god was so into slavery he wouldn't of sent moses to free all of the slaves in egypt, perhaps he let people have servants but when they started to mistreat them badly that makes it into slavery therefore god didn't see that as a valid practice

i've never read the bible, so i'm not all up on it

Lev.25:44-46 Thy bond-men and thy bond-maids which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you: of them shall ye buy bond-men and bond-maids. Moreover, of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land. And they shall be your possession. And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession, they shall be your bond-man forever.

Bond-men and bond-maids? Sounds more like slavery to me.

you can flip that and say what if atheists are wrong and god and christianity is both right? there's no need to answer that question because everyone's answer will probably be something like "oh well"

"The Christian church's main justification of the concept of slavery was based on the "curse of Ham" which appears in the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) in Genesis 9:25-27.

"Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers. He also said, 'Blessed be the Lord, the God of Shem! May Canaan be the slave of Shem.

Christians at the time believed that Canaan had settled in Africa and that his descendents had become black.

Although slavery was widespread in Palestine during Jesus' ministry, the Christian Scriptures (New Testament) does not record his opinion of it. Slavery was casually mentioned without criticism in the various books of the Bible. It was accepted as a natural part of life by almost all Christians until the 19th century CE.

Anabaptists started to criticize slavery in the late 17th century. They were joined by Quakers and Mennonites. It was only when John Wesley (1703-1791), founder of the Methodist movement, became concerned about slavery that the small protest became a mass movement for the abolition of slavery.

Slavery is still advocated in North America by some Reconstructionist Christians and a few racist fringe groups within the Christian Identity movement.

Ex.21:20-21 If a man smite his servant or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand, he shall be surely punished; notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished, for he is his money.

Just make sure the slave lives for a day or two after a beating, and then it doesn't matter if he dies. So the Bible advocates slow deaths instead of quick ones... wonderful

your video did not prove anything scientifically. and your logical explanations are the most illogical and stupid ideas I've ever heard. You thing we are the omega of the universe, but you forget that we are very week little things and all in all we are just as much energy as the energy in the air : atoms carrying little weight. We need air to breath, and we can't even find any other place in space where their is oxygen. Are you saying we are more complex than space itself, even if we can't even breath in it?
